Are Angels Real?
Read This Story and Decide for Yourself
An Angelic Encounter

This is a personal story that happened to me. Some people read this and say that they believe I was visited by angels. Others say it is bogus. Read it and tell me what you think.

The verse that corresponds to this first story is:
Hebrews 13:2 - Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

I believe I encountered angels one day while on a bicycle ride. I'm not sure if God was testing me as the above scripture makes clear, but I am sure the meeting with these angels was not of this humanly world.

I ride a road bicycle quite a lot. I used live out of town so my rides either headed back into town or way out toward the middle of nowhere on the highway headed to the next town. The highways of New Mexico are usually sparsely traveled. On this particular day, I was battling a headwind and it was a bit of struggle. I couldn't wait until I got out around 10 miles because the 10 miles home would be fast with the wind on my back.

About 3 miles from home, I came up to the top of a small hill and noticed a white mini-van about 100 feet down the other side of the hill. As I approached it, I noticed that the young man standing next to the van had taken a badly deteriorated flat tire off the van and had his spare laying next to it. There were rubber and steel belts all over the place as the blow out appeared to be sudden and dangerous.

I stopped and asked the young man if he needed help. He had a kind face and as I got closer I noticed he had a young wife and a baby in the van. It was windy and hot and they looked like they could use some help. The man told me that he had a blow out and that his spare was no good. I offered him the use of my cell phone, but he told me he wasn't from around here and had nobody to call. His license plate was from Massachusetts.

I told him I would be happy to ride back to my house and get my car and return to help them. I told him his wife and child could come to my house and wait while we went to town to find a way to get him a spare. I remember that he was very grateful for my help and I especially remember his wife saying, "Sir, may God Bless you.
Thank you so much for your help."

I told the couple that I could ride to my house in about 9 minutes because the strong wind would be at my back. It would just take about 6 minutes to get my keys and return back to help him. The total amount of time I needed to be gone was only 15 minutes. Believe me, the mess his old tire had made, and the fact that he had his jack out and the spare laying on the ground, 15 minutes would never be enough time to get things fixed, and besides, he didn't have a good tire to use.

Within 15 minutes, I was back where I had encountered the couple. They were gone. I pulled up to the spot where the van had been and I could see no evidence that it was ever there. There wasn't any rubber or steel belts on the ground like they were when I approached them. Why would someone clean the mess up and how would they have had time.

I don't understand how anyone could have stopped in the short time I was gone and helped this couple with a new tire, clean up the mess, and be gone. To say the least, it was eerie.

What do you think? Do you think it was a test? Read the verse again.

Pictures of angels are found to exist within most religions; but what are angels? The English form originated from the Latin word, “angelus,” which itself is derived from the Greek, “ángelos,” which means "messenger." The closest Hebrew term for angel is “mal'ach,” which also means messenger."

In the Hebrew Bible, we read and see pictures of angels appearing to people in the shape of humans; but of greater beauty - often not instantly recognized as angels. Therefore, angels must look like us – like humans. Some angels in the bible fly in the air; and become invisible; thus they appear to have similar characteristics as ghosts. They are described as often being bright and heavenly; encompassed by light. Various religions also tell of an angel named, “Gabriel” who serves as a messenger from God. He appears first in the Book of Daniel, in the Old Testament. The name Gabriel simply means "Man of God."

In the New Testament, angels are simply humans used to carry a divine message. The word "angel" often is used to describe people who are simply announcers of events, and their appearance is pictured to be human. In that sense, anyone who delivers a message can be considered “an angel.” Are angels the same as humans? Are angels simply enlightened humans, thus distinguishing them from unenlightened, disembodied human spirits (ghosts)? Furthermore, the allegorical use of the word "angel" in the Bible (as a messenger) represents "thoughts" that are higher in idea and floating around in the "heavens" of the human mind. Is it then true that we are what we believe, perhaps capable of being the product of angelic thought?

Anomalies In Angel Pictures

Though many angel pictures appear to be real proof of the existence of divine spirit beings, some angel photos can be explained as being common anomalies created by cameras or environment. It is possible that angelic spirit beings manifest in our photographs as balls of light called "orbs," mists, apparitions, light or even as signs within objects. We are keeping an open mind, but while doing so, please allow us to explain some of the more common false positives found in angel photographs.

Orbs - round spheres of light in angel pictures that may indicate the presence of spirits, but can also be caused by flash reflection off of reflective surfaces, such as mirrors, metal and glass. Also, dust, insects, pollen, moisture (such as rain, snow or water vapor) can produce orbs that are not spirit in nature.
Ectoplasm - spirit mist in angel pictures that is not usually visible to the naked eye, but appears in the ghost picture. Many believe this to be “spirit” energy captured in picture and seems to be a form of light at times, hence we include it as possibly being angelic or enlightened spirit beings. However, fog, cigarette smoke, smoke from a fire, snow, rain, breath in cold air, steam from hot water or drinks, etc can also produce mists that falsely appear as spirit entities. Pay special attention to cold weather photographs which tend to produce more mists than one would think.
Apparitions - the Holy Grail of angel pictures; capturing a full-bodied spirit in a “see-through,” often human form. These are rare, and the most treasured of angel pictures. We should note that some flash settings of digital cameras will have a tendency to lengthen exposure time which will create transparent people and images. This will also produce light bars and orange haze that are not enlightened spirit beings. Also, shooting a camera towards mirrors and glass will often capture people in the room with you that are not disembodied!
Super-Charged Energy - streaks of energy within an angel picture that is unexplainable. Certain night time flash settings will produce false energy photographs through extended exposure and slight camera movement. Flash reflection off of glass or mirrors will also produce strange lights. None of these are spirit beings.
Angelic Likenesses - though we post cloud angels and other angelic-looking images that are found within the environment and inspiriational, it is good to be aware of an effect called pareidolia. Some call this " matrixing." Giving human attributes to inanimate things is normal and known asanthropomorphizing.

Demons are spiritual concepts. They have no physical being and no material existence that could be measured or observed. Science cannot study demons. Demons cannot take on physical form and appear like the demon in Disney's Night On Bald Mountain or the Balrog in The Lord of the Rings, and they cannot harm people like in the movie The Exorcist. No one needs to be afraid of becoming demon possessed by touching an image or hearing certain music or saying bad words. So, no, in that sense, demons are not real.

But demons are spiritual concepts. In order to think about the bad things that happen, like dreadful sickness or ghastly crime, humans need some way to conceptualize abstract ideas that are very difficult. By imagining some sort of evil being, who causes terrible things to happen, a person can think and talk about that evil. Also, when a person does something they are ashamed of, they can blame that act on something or someone outside themselves ... or on something inside themselves that isn't really them. Sometimes the ability to think about something in this way enables the person to give up bad habits or addictions, to stop hurting others or themselves, and that is very good. So, yes, in this sense, demons are very real.

According to the Bible Demons are real. In Christianity demons are generally believed as fallen angels, formerly of God.

Demons are just as real as people's fears, angers and hatreds. When I was a child, I was terrified that there was a demon in our dark basement. My fear was very real, and that demon was real to me. At some point, as I grew older and understood more about the presence of God in my life, I realized that the demon was not waiting downstairs in the dark. That demon inhabited the fear inside me. With God's grace, I rid myself of the fear and the demon troubled me no more.

Demons have no power other than the power we give them. Exorcisms are effective because they enable the distressed person to let go of the demon - the fear, hatred, anger or other sin that FEELS like bondage. Once the person lets go, the "demon" has no more power, and the person is free.

To a small child, demons are as real as Santa Claus. When you grow up you begin to realise that they are not real, just products of fantasy. There are people who still believe in demons and exorcisms, but that does not make them real.

Yes Demons are real. It says it in the bible, and the bible is nothing but the truth. Demons can attack you at any will.

I don't know if demons exist in a physical sense but I do know that alot of people believe they have done horrible things because of demons. To those people, demons are very real.

Be careful what you ask for. For every good there is an evil. Evil is so much easier to succumb to. Kinda like the good side and the dark side of The Force (in Star Wars).
Good energy and bad energy is REAL & there is no doubt in my mind.

NO they are not! demons are just something created by religion. religion is something created by people...from thier heads...soo ya

One thing that puzzles me is if you go to Haiti or some isolated African villages or even down the street you will often see spirit worshipers and satanists. What frightens me is that I have heard the demons myself and I know that it wasnt a trick because ive seen and heard them. Just look at David Blaine, he has some kind of healing power because he picked up a dead bird off of the ground and brought it back to life. That is physically impossible so it had to be a demon possesion or somthing or the other. So if there is demons and evil spirits then there has to be good, God summoned spirits also. But thats just an opinion. If anyone has anything to say say it because this spirit stuff is freaking me out. Ive heard the voices, good and evil. They are real. Ive been to the doctor recently and he said that im a fine healthy person. My mental health is fine. It freaks me out. Anyone know what im talking about eh?
