...be legal. I have my reasons and that is what I will be discussing in my paper. First I will explain what an abortion is. My thesis will include different reasons from cause and effect to religion, beliefs and most of all women’s rights. I will touch on the basis of situations that we women endure in our lifetime. I say we, because I am a woman and understand what it is to have a choice and say in my body, what every woman should have the right to do. While I will counter my argument I will not sway you from my reasons to why abortion should be legal. We certainly live in a world of judgment along with morals and values but again a woman should have the right to decide when she chooses to abort an unwanted child. It may sound harsh and selfish but it is still her/a woman’s choice. Some of us may not agree but as the saying goes “it is what it is.” If it is not you, then why put that person down and blast them for it. One never knows what others endurances are, and sometimes they are left in circumstances where that maybe the only option. Some who are against abortion may not want to hear of it, but is still there choice and the government should not take that right away. We fought for our rights for years, and have freedom of speech we should have that right to abort an unwanted child. Although, I am against people abusing the choice in having an abortion, I am still for it. Also that our youth know their rights and ensure their rights in decision...

S2: who's on his committee? S3: um, oh it isn't up there. um, so Matt of course and Jim Dimmitt, um Steve Baker and Dave Sutep, who's a professor in physics. S1: so S4: so you have two outside professors? S3: mhm S1: right. uh although calling Steve, an outsider is [S3: yeah that's true ] so so he's, so it's it's good to know your committee just strategically, for your, defense, um, and, uh, Steve, is gonna be already very familiar with this material and is gonna be pretty familiar with it [S3: mhm ] and uh, uh Dave Sutep is gonna be, uh, completely, comfortable here. S3: so for those of you who don't know Dave is the director of the program in complex systems, so, that that's how you know it makes sense to have a physics professor, on this,...

...The Meeting G: Jason, I have such awesome news for you, I’m so glad you’re here. Betsy said that you are going out of town and I was wondering you know, is he going to be here or not because I have such awesome news. J: Yeah great. G: I have Bestel who is interested in investing 4 million dollars in this company, immediately. All we have to do is sign a few papers and we are done. Now the chairman of the board, do you remember Jack Schneider? Do you remember when he came in? J: I do. G: Ok. So I have known him since I was a kid, he’s almost like an uncle to me. Now he said, basically this is a done deal. Now his shareholders, they don’t get together until 2 weeks after the fourth quarter. But that’s not really a problem because I have talked to him, and worked everything out and done everything that he wanted me to do. J: does he have to get the shareholders to approve the deal? G: Well yeah of course. J: Well how is he going to do that if the quarter ends, he can’t legitimately sign the deal before he gets shareholder approval? G: Ok, well technically I know what you’re saying, but I’m telling you I know this guy. He’s like, like at thanksgiving and when I was growing up we would have picnics together, and he’s given me the OK. He says he’s got these shareholders on his side, and then he’ll have this meeting that’s kind of a technical problem but other than that, he said he will do it so it’s really not a problem. J: So if he does that though, are we authorized to go ahead and...

...something that we all go thru at one point in our lives, something that makes our word our bond. We agree to something and we decide to put it on paper for how long no matter what comes up we stick to it. Now contract can be so testy we don’t know if we are breaching it or right on task. There are contract almost everywhere that we go, when we get a car, buy a house, even when you sign up for a credit card you are putting yourself in a contact. Now every time that you think about something that you want to get into a contract with, it's always smart to think research and make sure that what you are doing is great for you. For example people everyday get into a new car contract because they really need it. Now I have done this in the past but before we got into the contract I made sure that we were able to afford it. Now something that my wife does is takes all the information that we gathered from the car lot and made sure that it would fit in our budget. Now after a long talk we were able to come to the decision that we would take the car. But we wanted to make sure that this is something that really wanted to, I know that if we were not going to be able to afford it then we would be in more trouble for not having that ability to pay for it. Now we are really going to get into this car contract a little deeper and by that I mean we are going to see what is good and what is bad about all decision that will be made in the final hours of the contract. So we will skip past...

...my upbringing and continuing knowledge of what I know about the world. God is three persons in one divine essence (Classroom Midterm Study Guide). Each of the three persons is necessary to form the Trinitarian. God is made up of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God the Father is our invisible God and as a result he sends the Son who is our visible image of the invisible God. The Son sends the Spirit who is illuminated by the Son. When seeing the Son by the Spirit you see the Father and as a result you have one perfect individual we call God. Our purpose here as humans is to participate in the beauty, goodness, love, glory, and truth of God’s life (Study Guide). He heals and strengthens us in times of need, knows our every thought and move, and is always looking down on us to protect us through whatever it is we may go through. There is not another all-powerful God out there that can do the impossible like God can. When speaking of death it really depends on what we mean by “life” and vice versa. “Charismatic Christians, for example, might well align ‘life’ with the ‘Holy Spirit’ as imaginary partners constituting this dynamic form of spirituality” (Davies, 2008, p. 153). As long as one has remained loyal and faithful to our God over his/her lifetime, they will go to Heaven and get the blessing of sitting before God. As for those who are not believers, they will not experience the joy of God because they will not have the opportunity to go to Heaven. As a human, our...

...Anthem Essay In literature we can pull a deeper meaning from characters and what they say in the book. In order to understand these things you have to read between the lines and delve deep into what the author is really trying to say. It is important that you really understand the true meaning of the book so you can truly understand the whole point of the book. I am going to try and get the true meaning out of these three quotes and tell you what they mean to me. “To be free, a man must be free of his brothers.” To me this quote means that we can be influenced and learn from other people but we shouldn’t be exactly like them and agree with everything they say. We need to have our own original thoughts in order to be our own person. Just being able to think for ourselves and understanding who we truly are and why we are here will make us truly happy. “It is my mind which thinks, and the judgment of my mind is the only searchlight that can find the truth” know what is right and runs away in to the uncharted forest. An example of this in the book would be that equality 7-2521 invents a light bulb, and takes it to the world house of scholars. They reject his idea and he runs away into the uncharted forest because he knows his invention is not useless. He finds a home there from “the unmentionable times” and lives in it with the golden one. This is a good example because it shows that if you do what you know is right then you will always be rewarded for and live a happier life...

I eavesdrop on their conversation, because, I can. “Are we ever going to stop?” Brittany asks my old pal. “We take these children from their families, and then what? They just live their lives like nothing ever happened, like they don’t remember, because the problem is they don’t. They’ll never know about their real lives, and I don’t think that’s right, Sherman. I think it’s time we stop.” “We still need more kids, we need a bigger army,” Sherman answers casually,...

...Marty Morris Mrs. Bombard CP English 12B-period 5 10 May 2012 The Right Decisions When a child is born, their entering the world with no idea on what’s right or wrong. They learn slowly as they grow up into adults by making mistake. When they make enough mistakes, they soon start to learn how to make the correct decisions by understanding what they done wrong in the past. I say this because a student claims that when one has properly developed their values they will make the right decisions. I disagree with what this student claims in several ways. This student is mistaken because he overlooks the fact that no one is perfect, without mistakes a person does not grow and learn, and not everyone defines the “right decision” in the same way. In life everyone has made mistakes, no one is perfect. Everyone came into the world not knowing what was right or wrong. We all were in a situation where we made a bad decision and regretted it. Without regrets most people wouldn’t be where they are today. We learn from these things the hard way. For an example in “Tuesdays with Morrie” Mitch didn’t know his girlfriend felt she didn’t get enough attention until he lost her. In many ways everyone has their disabilities and in Mitch’s case it was not being a very good listener. However what is one person’s disability is one strength. Mitch had morrie to talk to and learn from because what Mitch was lacking morrie had advice to give, and Mitch used his advice to fix his problem which he learned...

...my eyes have been opened over and over again to the way I think about different worldviews. A person’s worldview is determined though their beliefs and their morals. Though my worldview is Christian someone else’s can be completely different. Just because someone’s worldview is different than mine does not mean that their worldview is wrong. Worldview is different for each individual but they can still have the same set of ethics and morals. From a young age my grandmother brought me up with a Christian worldview and its beliefs. I know that God is the creator of all things in the universe. I know this because it is in the Bible. The nature of the universe came into existence all because of God. God created the nature of the universe to show his love for all things that he created. After God created the universe he made man out of his own image and he was pleased. When Adam and Eve disobeyed God knew that he had to punish them. I do not think that God wanted to punish them, but he had to teach them wrong and right. Now days we have the Bible and God’s words to tell us how we should act and what things are right and wrong. In everyday life we are faced with situations that we must choose what to do. God knows that as humans we are not perfect and will from time to time sin. God loves us so much though that he sent his son to Earth to die on the cross for our sins. By Jesus dying we are able to be forgiven for our sins if we turn to God and ask for his forgiveness. If we live right...

...people we all have the right to vote! For my perspective I have chose perspectivetwo which states:People who are informed should vote, but those who are uninformed should not. Uninformed voting actually does more damage to democracy than not voting. I think this is very true. We fought for many years to get thefreedom to vote. Saying that, I also think that if you don't know what or who you are voting for then you should not vote! If you walk in to vote and just pick someone and you have no clue about anything in that persons plan or future; your decisioncould hurt us tremendously. For example, this year was a very close call. You had to watch the news every day and every debate to know who to vote for! If you did not go vote because you did not know enough about the running delegates then I think that is a better choice than randomly picking someone. Perspective one states thatof course every citizen is obliged to vote. It is the most basic right in a democracy, and declining that right is disrespectful to the freedoms one enjoys. I personally do not think it is disrespectful to vote but on the other hand if you know what you are talking about then you should go vote. So, the people that think it is disrespectful to go vote, they would rather you go vote and make a decision...

Procedural safeguards are in place for students with disabilities but those safeguards may differ from state to state. A parent that is caught between sending their special needs child to a public school or a private school need to know and understand the similarities and differences in the two types of school systems.
