...invaded the sanctity of our dinner table conversations, our English papers and even our court rooms. We are bombarded with those who are pro-life calling abortion doctors “baby-killers.” They complain about how abortion is unmoral, and how God wants us to choose life over death, but they seem to have no problem taking out their own frustrations on the doctor’s performing these procedures or their patients. The “pro-lifers” seem to think that abortion laws were just thrown together by uncaring “baby-killers” instead of Supreme Court justices. The fact is abortion used to be illegal. It wasn’t until the case of Roe Vs. Wade that the Supreme Court decided that a woman had the right to an abortion as long as certain guidelines were established and followed. The guidelines that were established following the Roe vs. Wade decisions are or still in effect today. The current Legislature says that the “state may not regulate abortion at all during the first trimester”( http://members.aol.com/abtrbng/conlaw.htm). That means that if a woman decides during the first three months of her pregnancy to abort the child she has the legal right to do so. The state’s interest during the first trimester is to the mother’s well-being. What is so special about the first 3 months? Well during the first three months the child is unable to survive outside of the mother’s womb, therefore dependent on the mother. During the second trimester the state can regulate abortion “but only for the protection...

It has detailed documentation. III. It was natively developed for making web applications. IV. It is fast and used by many famous websites like facebook. V. It uses OOP approach from version 4. VI. It is very intelligent language so exception handling is very much easy in php. Web Applications: A web application is any application that uses a web browser to run or execute. Functions of a Web Application Most organizations have a number of web based applications for which functional size is required to be determined. In the absence of definitive industry guidelines, the following guidelines, derived from the IFPUG paper and other industry sources are our recommendations. Characteristics of Web Based Applications • A web based application is defined as a collection of logically related interactive functions that fulfil a specific business requirement as defined by a knowledgeable user of the internet. In the case of a web application, the ‘business user’ of the application is the web provider, and it is this view that determines what “user requested functionality.” is the end-user of the web site does not directly influence either the business functionality provided, or the design requirements. • One web site can provide access to multiple web applications. It is important to establish applications boundaries...

...Memorandum To: Mario DiPonetti, ASIB From: Date: ------------------------------------------------- Re: Google Scholar Submitting Abstracts to Google Scholar Confidential Google Scholar requires some strict guidelines for inclusion. ASIB will need to ensure all documents are formatted correctly on their website to be considered for inclusion on Google Scholar. I have outlined some of the requirements below. For more detailed information on specific requirements, visit Google Scholars website at http://www.google.com/intl/en/scholar/inclusion.html#overview. Guidelines 1. Visitors (or search robots) must be able to freely view abstracts without the need to sign in, install software, accept disclaimers, dismiss popup advertisements, click on links or scroll down the page before they can read the entire abstract. If these aspects are present, Google Scholar will not consider ASIB’s website for inclusion. 2. Large documents, over 5MB, should be uploaded to Google Book Search as these files are too large for Google Scholar. 3. Because Google Scholar utilizes automated software to crawl websites to fetch information and refresh content, files will need to be in either HTML or PDF format. Please note that PDF files must have searchable text. To ensure documents are searchable, please review Adobe.com for requirements. To make scanned documents searchable, OCR (optical character recognition) must be selected when PDFs are scanned. 4. If ASIB’s website has...
