Five important tasks to complete a retirement party are making a budget, ask co-workers about the party, decide on a place to host it, make a theme, write down the names of the guests that are attending. Making a budget is the most important task in planning any party. Deciding on how much money you have to spend on the party will give you an idea on what you can buy and where the party will be. Also it may limit the amount of guest that can be invited. Asking your fellow co-workers to help plan the party is a great thing to do. They can give you several options as far as where to go and who to invite. They may even be able to help with the budget by bringing food they make at home or make a donation to the funds of the party. It’s important to think about how many guests will be at a party when deciding the venue. If it is a small get together you could host it in your house or back yard. If it’s a lot of people you might want to go somewhere else. Choosing a theme is not as important as the others mentioned but adds a nice ambience to the party. A theme can be something simple or could be extravagant. Finally make a guest list. This way you know who exactly is attending. Knowing who will be there will same time when it comes to providing appropriate space. Making the guest list is probably the easiest thing to do and should only take a day or two. In that same day you can ask your fellows co-workers for advice about the party, and make a decision by the end of the week as to where you want the party to be, what the theme is. Making a budget should take about two to three days to make. If a conflict should rise in the planning of the event depending on what the issue is depends on how to resolve it. If the conflict is between two co-workers I would find out what the conflict was about first. Most issues can be resolved by simply knowing what happened. But if the conflict happens in the budget I might have to reconsider the place, guest list or theme. Teamwork in school is similar to teamwork in the work place, and have a lot of the same values. When working in a team projects get done quicker, deadlines are met on time, and it makes the over-all work easier.
