In this article it explains the different effects of spinal bifida within different domains, with an effort to promote awareness and different treatments. This article also focuses on treatment strategies and that can help with the developmental disabilities associated with Spinal Bifida. Since Spinal bifida does affect the Central nervous center (CNS), and is considered a neurogenic disorder with a complex etiology that involves genetic and environmental factors. The most common form of spinal bifida, myelomeningocele is often used interchangeably with spinal bifida Since spinal Bifida can be diagnosed before birth, treatments also begin when the fetus is in-utero and continue threw out life. Spinal Bifida is the leading neurological disorder that is cognitive. It is a life long struggle when someone suffers from Spinal Bifida. Spinal Bifida effects cognition, adaption along with behavior. The characteristics that affect the brain also include neurological dysfunction on multiple organ systems. This article is very informative on the MS disease because a lot of people are un aware of this disorder but it is very popular. Also the symptoms of MS are very normal everyday symptoms ie: dizziness, blurred vision, tingling and numbness, weakness in your joints, and some more less common symptoms are slurred speech, sudden onset of paralysis, lack of coordination and cognitive difficulties. If there is a advanced stage of MS a patient can experience muscle spasms, sensitivity to heat and feel fatigue, you’re thinking abilities can be altered and suffer with sexual disturbances. With osteoporosis being the leading cause of MS it is known that women at least a 6th of them with have a hip fracture in their lifetime.
