The landscape of planet Wellsy is extremely colourful and diverse. It ranges from mountains with steep valleys, to the never ending sand dunes. There are many watering holes scattered throughout the lands, along with trees that bear succulent fruit that many animals feast on. Much of the planet is inhabited by unique and interesting creatures. They come in many forms and heights adapted to their environment of course. Like earth, there are four main seasons on planet Wellsy, the wet, dry, frost and growth. Each main season lasts for about one and a half human year, while the transitional seasons last for six months. During the wet seasons, the tides of the ocean waters rise up and swallow up any flora or fauna that happened to be at the shore…show more content… Commonly, the turlleys would find a home in naturally made caves or create a shelter among the underwater flora, but some decide to dwell in rock creatures. The said creature is a gigantic sea dweller, with skin that resembles stones and it has cavernous ridges that are home to many creatures. This bond is commensalism because they form a home in a ridge which does not harm the rock faces. The turlleys have formed a mutualistic bond with tentacle fish, which are essentially fish with tentacles. Near the end of the growth season, they open up the egg sacks so the young could escape, in return the turlleys eat the nutritious, discarded sacks. They are hunted during the dry seasons when a handful of land creatures migrate to the sea. Like every other creature, the turlleys control the population of animals. For example, the armfish produces many young during the season of growth, so the turlleys mainly eat the fish’s young. This creature produces sexually and mate for life. The female lays a clutch of eggs that range from five to seven eggs, then the male fertilizes the eggs to create zygotes. Most offspring stay with the smack they are born into, but it is not uncommon for them to join a different
