I would recommend the paleo diet because it is one of the healthiest diets one can follow. Many people that have stuck to this diet report feeling “refreshed” and “healthier than ever.” Although it may be tough to transition into the diet, it is a smart idea because the pros do outweigh the cons. The paleo diet is preventative of numerous illnesses including obesity, heart disease, autoimmune diseases, infections, and many neurodegenerative diseases. Drawbacks include the high cost of healthy foods, the possibility of a low intake of certain vitamins, proteins, and calcium, and the lack of variety due to the tough food restrictions.
