In “The Osage Firebird” by Sudipta Bardhan talks about the life of Maria Tallcheif. It talks about how she became a famous dancer. It also talks about the struggles she had to go through to get where she was.
The first major section talks about when and where she was born. It talks about her early life and how she sat and listened to her grandmothers stories about fire spirits and animals that talk. In lines 6 through 8 it talks about when she started ballet and how her passion for dancing began.
The second major section talks about about her becoming a star. It says in lines 12 and 13 that she realized that there is always ore work to do. One of her teachers criticized her and said they think she should go back t the basics of dancing
