...Where Am I, Where I Want to Go and What I Want to Be To begin, I will be starting this essay by saying right now I’m very content with where I am in life. Of course there’s always room for some improvement, but where I am right now I’m pretty content with being a working student who’s kind’ve scatter brained but has so many ideas in my head and dreams to achieve. Where I want to go, I really want to possibly be in a different state or even downtown Miami. Somewhere where I can branch out a little more and be way more adventurous, without any holds (my parents). And where I want to be, in a few years from now I want to be in the entertainment business whether it’s maybe managing a celebrity, or writing for a fashion magazine or even being a correspondent on a television show that reports pop culture such as E!, MTV or VH1. Furthermore, where I am right now like I mentioned above I’m quite content. I work in retail, I own a car, I have a decent income, I’m still at home with my parents but I don’t depend on them so much. I have a social life, and a great group of friends and I’m in a happy time at age 21. Although, I wish I could of course be exceeding a little more that’s what school is for! And attending school is another thing that I’m happy with, because without it I’d probably be extremely bored at home and putting my brain to no good use. Continuing on, where I want to go I’d love to be downtown in a few years from now or even in California. And I say this...

...2015 What I Want Generally when asked what is most important to someone, one would reply: my family, my friends, or my dog, but when I think deeply about what is most important in my life, it is my future and being successful. When should one begin planning for their life ahead? I believe you should start practically from birth. Ever since I was little I knew school was important and in order to be financially stable I would have to stay focused in order to succeed. Beginning in my childhood my choices have put me where I am today. For example I have succeeded through all schooling from elementary through high school. My choice of classes in high school allowed me to come into UNF with 21 credits and gave me a semester to explore majors without having to make a scary decision. Also because I took honors, AP, and dual enrollment courses I ended my high school career with a 4.4 GPA. These decisions have helped me get on the right path to being successful. My everyday life decisions are a reflection of my overall goal. For example I choose to go to every one of classes daily and never make it an option to myself whether I am going or not. In order to be successful one must be organized which is why in high school I took a class called AVID to help prepare me for college and it taught about organization skills like keeping a planner which in college keeps me on track with when my assignments are due. Another factor in my life today is the fact that I work...

...What i want in a woman? I think it's subjective,we all have different traits, mannerisms(even idiosyncrasies)we all picture mentally, when we think of our ideal woman. Some of us are absorbed or even obsessed with their physical endowments(secondary sex characteristics, curves, glowing skin, glossy hair, looks and gait),some their cognition(perception, learning, reasoning and decision making),general intelligence and finally the banal and hackneyed "CHARACTER". Some want it all, which in the contemporary world and especially our society is regarded as unattainable and unrealistic. We all(@ least once in our lives)fall into this category, but growing up we're taught to disassociate ourselves from unrealistic goals, urging and promoting dispositions encouraging us to desist from such thoughts and aspirations. Also life experiences undeniably play vital roles in strengthening those internalized thought patterns. We date a girl with one attribute we particularly crave just to find her lacking in another aspect we didn't initially consider or overlooked it's importance. We somehow believe that no one has it all and encouraged to choose between two or more distinguishing attributes(like character and beauty) inadvertently insinuating that a lady can't be overwhelmingly beautiful and still have the morals and propriety similar to that of the "biblical virtuous woman" I desire an ambitious, intelligent and beautiful woman(not necessarily a trophy wife but that won't hurt either, though the bible...

...provoking question you should ask yourself everyday is, what do you want most in life. There are many things people want materialistically or ideally. It can go all the way from fancy cars to world peace. For example, Martin Luther king wanted to give equal rights towards African Americans because they were very supressed at that time and you can say Dr. King accomplished what he was trying to do. Some people work their whole lives to buy a car they've always wanted, and they accomplish it. Different people desire different things. Some people work for themselves to find self euphoria and others assist people to pursuit their own happiness. The text/videos and authors I will be referring to in this text are first off , Anthem by Ayn Rand, “Emancipation Proclamation” by Abraham Lincoln, “Prometheus” found in greek mythology, Critical thinking by Leo, and our very own socratic seminar we had as a classroom. I feel as if I can apply the question , “what do I want most in life” to each of these text/videos because they were trying to find a way to accomplish their vision. I want most in life is to find my happiness First off, I will be talking about Anthem by Ayn Rand....

...When I was younger I was always asked the question "what do you want to be when you grow up?" Whenever I was asked that question I was always stumped. What DID I want to do for the rest of my life? I wanted to finish middle school, start high school, and go to college. Like it was as simple as that. At the time I did not know what I wanted to study in college. I mean I was only in middle school at the time and everyone expected every little detail in my life to be planned out already. I would always reply with the dull answer of "I don't know." The more I was asked, the more I pondered it. What did I love to do? I loved to read visiting the library every day during lunch to get a couple of new books to read. I was always creative loving to...

It would ideally be a catalogue all necessary information that would help an external party to assess the organizational fit in a better way and understand whether he/she is in total sync with the organizational goals and the other beneficiaries. The organizational overview addresses the following: * The mission and the history * The stakeholders * The goals and the programs * The budget * The outcomes and the achievements * The sponsors or the funders. I have chosen Salesforce.com as the organization for my analysis and believe that the description provided would help in giving a better understanding of the organization for any third party considering a position with the organization. This organization was developed about fifteen years ago with the objective of bringing together better and reinvented customer relationship management services (CRM) using the mechanism of cloud computing. They have revolutionized the process of CRM, and the way they have incorporated the entire system in cloud computing led to the foundation of a path breaking philanthropic model for them to...

...far from synonymous. As a one-time professional athlete in the NFL he said it best, One day on the playing field I looked up and the sun was breaking through the clouds, hitting the unmuddied areas on the uniforms, and I said, That’s beautiful!’… I knew then that it was all over being a player. I was more interested in art.” His impact on the world of art will definitely live on despite his recent death. His artistic genius and bold, intense, and exaggerated technique will be flattered by imitation, adoption, and admiration for years to comes. The university is committed to sports art, establishing the American Sport Art Museum and Archives in 1984. It is arguably the largest collection of sport art in the world. Ernie Barnes coveted work had been commissioned by the likes of Slyvester Stallone, The 1984 Olympic Games, Alex Hailey, Mary Tyler Moore, the NBA, Kanye West, and the list goes on and on. His most famed piece “Sugar Shack” was the endearing centerpiece in many scenes of Good Times, a staple television series in the African-American community during the 1970′s. Ernie Barnes legacy will be his impeccable ability to paint subjects in motion, specifically athletes, dancers, and youth. Barnes died on Monday, April 27th, 2009 why do you like this picture? ...and ITunes started the digital downloads the record stores could not compete and store owners were forced to close up shop for good. But there still record stores out there and when you find one it is like a diamond in the coal. I arrived \ on a less then pleasant day the weather was cold and rainy so before I left the safety of my car I turned my collar up to face the cold and made a bee line to the store so fast it would but Usain Bolt to shame. When I walked in the store I was greeted by the smell of coffee and sound of The Rolling Stones song Monkey Man playing over the store speakers with the owner of the store john singing along to the song and throwing his arms up like a monkey. As soon as you walk into the store your face to face with a giant rack of used DVDs ranging from Driving Miss Daisy to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre I was immediately welcomed by john who sitting down in front of this cash register with a sign on it that read “No Personal Check$” behind him was a giant poster of Frank Zappa which seemed like one of his most prized positions john had on a tie dyed rolling stones shirt john had looked tried and he seemed to be discomfort later I found out he looked that way due to having MS. Before john and I stared talking I asked if we could take a walk around the store john told me that he is not able to “move very well...

Last, I also want to discuss what type of format learner I am. Part of being a great citizen is to support the environment. I currently recycle; however, my wish is to recycle frequently. I should recycle due to almost everything we use today is made up of recyclable material. For instance, reusing our water bottles can reduce cost of making new water bottles. If we do not recycle, our landfills will only get bigger and it can damage our environment by taking up our free land. Since recycling is good for the environment, it can save companies from using unnecessary...

...mythology, “Critical Thinking video” by Leo and our Socratic Seminar. What do you want most in life? but not just the people in these texts have trouble asking themselves this. Many teenegers now struggle with this too. They have to decide whether they want to do something or not and most of the time this affects their entire life. I also struggle with answering this and getting what I want most in my life. What i want most in my life is freedom and acceptance. First, In the book Anthem by Ayn Rand Equality wanted freedom. He wanted the freedom to be himself and to learn. He also wanted to be accepted by his “brothers”. In the book equality struggled to fit in. He always hid who he was so he wouldn’t get in trouble. For example he was so different that he was even taller than everyone else “ There is evil in your bones, Equality 7-2521, for your body has grown beyond the bodies of your brothers” (Anthem pg.18). But equality is not the only one. I can relate to this because I've also struggled with acceptance from my family and i still do....
