Jimmy Carter, who was the former US president in 2003 discusses about a great region

named“Arctic National Wildlife Refuge”which is located in America. Jimmy Carter strongly asserts that

this “magnificent” place truly has some “wildness” and it is a habitant for many animals like “Polar

bears, Dall sheep, wolves, etc.”

After he describes the diverse functions about the Arctic refuge, he also mentions the

motivation of him getting so obsessed with this place “More than a decade ago, Rosalynn (my wife)

and I had the fortunate opportunity to camp and hike in these regions of the Arctic Refuge.” The

author emphasizes his appreciation for visiting the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge by using the word
