“When you have the opportunity to do so; speak up, speak out and don’t be afraid to speak well.” You can hear Professor Snee say this in his recent Ted Talk that he did about how the virtue of eloquence became a vice. Though this was said during his ted talk, it is the behavior he promotes in his everyday life. Plain, simple, and direct talk does sound like it comes with some sort of “danger” to it but for me, its just the kind of responses I need which Professor Snee is not afraid to give. His way of keeping everything plain, simple, and direct has absolutely helped and guided me.
