In her article “Revenge: Will you feel better?”, Karyn Hall (2013) explains not only her opinions on the question of whether or not revenge is sweet, but also discusses a groundbreaking study that provides evidence to the contrary, showing that revenge can actually make an individual feel worse than before. In the general overview of revenge given by the article, it talks about revenge being a complex and difficult topic to cover that is not talked about often. Hall makes a point when she states, “Revenge is one of the deepest instincts we have” (Hall, 2013).
