LITERATURE REVIEW
Knowledge of any research field needs sufficient understanding with the literature related to the area selected for study. The concept and measurement as to why customers patronize certain brands or stores has gained considerable attention from academicians, practitioners, and researchers in recent years. A brief review of literature would be a great help to the researchers in gaining an insight into the selected problem. It would help in gaining good background knowledge of the area under study. So it is practiced to review the literature available in the related area of the research study. In the area of the research study, related to the study about the factors customers’ preference in patronizing certain brands several studies, research papers, articles, are available. References of these earlier studies were found to be relevant to further analyze the present study.
In the early days most authors was focused loyalty as brand loyalty with respect to tangible goods (Cunningham, 1956; Day, 1969; Kostecki, 1994; Tucker, 1964) as cited in Caruana (2002). Dick and Basu (1994) said that loyalty is a more on favorable attitude towards a brand and shall create a repeat patronage. They were also recognized that low relative attitude with a low repeat purchase connotes absence of loyalty, while a low relative attitude with high repeat purchase may indicates spurious loyalty. But loyalty is interpreted as true loyalty rather than repeat purchasing behavior, which is the actual re-buying of brand, regardless of commitment (Bloemer & Kasper, 1995).
According to the work of Kim et al. (2007), brand loyalty is a deeply held commitment to re-buy or re-patronize a preferred product/service consistently in the future, thereby causing repetitive same-brand or same brand set purchasing, despite situational influences and marketing efforts having the potential

if they weren't so busy denying them. You don't realize how many things remind you of a person, until they become someone you no longer wish to remember. This is how it goes. I will respect those who respect me, and forget those who forget me. Simple as that. The sooner you know who you are and what you want, the less you’ll let things upset you. Whatever you do, good or bad, people will always have something negative to say. People who complain the most are usually the ones with the least to complain about. Sometimes, people decide to just be friends, even if the feeling is mutual. Not because love is hard to sustain, but because commitment complicates everything. You can't base your life on other people's expectations. It's funny how the people who know the least about you, have the most to say. When people can walk away from you, let them walk. Your destiny is never tied to anybody that left. There are two reasons why people don't talk about something: Either it doesn't mean anything to them, or it means everything. Love Doll

...Love Doll: A fable Love Doll is a fable written by Joe R. Lansdale in 1991. It is a short story about a man, who buys a plastic love doll, because, as he says in the first line of the story, wants to fuck something that he doesn’t have to talk to. He names her Madge. The story follows him and Madge, and how their relationship develops. What at first started as a toy for him, soon becomes a girlfriend who perfectly soothes his needs; she cooks for him, she fuck him and she keeps the house clean. It is common for the fable genre, to give a non-human creature, qualities that are human, such as verbal communication. However, the perfect girlfriend is an illusion, as we follow the personal development of Madge. After a while, Madge stops acting like the perfect girlfriend; she won’t fuck him as often anymore and she doesn’t clean the house or make dinner as well as she used to. She keeps on talking about starting school so she can earn some extra money, even though his salary is enough to feed them both. Madge starts school even though he’s not happy about it, and she goes to these business parties and begin talking about, how a women needs to make her own way through life. She’s gotten herself a strong and confident personality, and she begins to spend more time with a guy from one of the many business parties, he wears a three piece blue suit, and it makes the main character doubt his own worth and manliness. At one point when the man is so hollowed by his current situation...

Sex Guide

...woman has time to tone her abs or get supermodel hot. Let me share a secret with you ladies...you don't have to in order to be sexy. But, it is good to take care of yourself, just as you would want your man to. Now, understand that when I "speak for men" we're talking about your run-of-the-mill normal guy. Sure, there are guys who think you dressing in a skin-tight latex full body suit with weird goggles for your eyes and a zipper on the mouth while you spank his ass with a spiked paddle is sexy. I'm not remotely experienced with that, so I'm going to leave that be. Nor am I getting into the men who supposedly love obese women. No experience there either. So what do you think of when you think sexy, girls? Maybe waiting for your husband to come home, candles lit and music playing, and he finds you on the bed, dressed in some killer lingerie (or nothing), and ready to fuck? Well, yeah, that is sexy, really sexy. However, you probably don't have time to do that every day, and honestly, even if you did, that would get old after a while. But there are so, so many ways to be sexy that you might not even know. Unfortunately, there are also ways to be unsexy that you might not know,...

I'm not used to opening up to anyone, especially a girl. It just doesn't happen, I don't want to fall in love. What's the point of falling in love? It never works out, you either break up, divorce or someone dies. It all ends in heartbreak and from my experience with love, it doesn't look good. My parents were in love once, now look at them. A Gap of Sky Analysis

...people want to run away sometimes, so they can get away from the huge amount of pressure that they are dealing with. This huge pressure can make people feel very lonely, even though they are surrounded by lots of people, and this is exactly what the short story “A Gap of Sky”, written by Anna Hope, is about. In this short story we hear about a nineteen year old girl called Ellie, who is afraid of not living up to her teachers’ and parents’ expectations and this is what has driven her into a drug abuse. The short story gives us a portrait of a young girl, who is caught in between her desires and what is being expected of her. She is struggling with her inner demons and she is having an inner fight with herself about which decisions are ethically right or wrong. The short story is written as a 3rd person narrative. The point of view is limited to the main character Ellie and the text only describes Ellie’s thoughts e.g: “She remembers going out for booze. Did she get booze?” . The narrative technique that’s being used makes the reader come very close to Ellie’s personality and her feelings. This is also one of the reasons why there’s mainly one character throughout the story - we don’t need any other characters to get to know Ellie and what she’s going through, because we already know every thought that she has. When she feels unhappy or stressed, the reader can “feel” it by reading the story, e.g we have a situation where the reader can feel that Ellie is...
