Where Do We Go Now? At the end of the film Where Do We Go Now?, the Christian and Muslim women of the village swapped religions overnight leaving the men confused on to what was going on. While men struggled with this decision, the women carried about regular duties as if nothing had changed in their village. After this abrupt shift the men were on the way to bury Nassim, but when they got there, they were stuck trying to figure out which side to put him on, Muslim or Christian. Since the women of the village switched their religions, the men were uncertain as to whether or not Nassim, a Christian, should be buried in the Muslim or Christian side, leading the men to turn around in unison and ask the women “where do we go now?”. This was a really funny way to end the film, and also unexpected. It went from a serious moment, the funeral/ burial, to the confusion of the men of the village. The ending of the movie called for an alternative society in which there are no divisions among the villagers which is demonstrated through religious status. When the men were trying to figure out on which side to bury Nassim, I was thinking why they don’t just put him in the middle, where there would be no difference between Christian or Muslim. This is exactly what the women were trying to do throughout the entire movie and finally accomplished by switching from one religion to another, they wanted the war between two religions to end. The women of the village just wanted peace to prevent from losing their loved ones and by having this division between religions, the possibility of arising arguments and disputes would always be present. Although the people in the village seemed to genuinely get along, the issues regarding religion from

In my opinion, I feel this is a social problem because there has been huge debate over whether or not same sex couples are a part of societies norms. I feel that same-sex couples should not only be able to marry, but be able to complete their family by adopting because many do not have the option or financial stability to afford a surrogate. So it is up to them to either adopt as a single parent or find someone they trust to do it for them, and I feel they should not have to go all of that trouble for the sake of starting a family. There are polices and other legislature in place, but it is not enough The New Family: The Different Family Look Perhaps one of the hot buttons issues in our society today has to be same-sex couples wanting to get married, legally, and start a family by adopting. Same-sex relationships have maybe been around for who knows how long, probably even centuries no one knows; but up until years ago when same-sex couples were getting arrested for attempted to get married people begin to really take notice that...

We look at our situations and we deeply ask him Do you really care when l do not have food today? Do you really care when lm evicted from my house? Do you care when my child is sick? Does he care when l fail my entrance exam or the final or when my parents can’t pay fees? The answer is the same O yes he cares, I know he cares his heart is touched with my, your… grief. When the days are weary and the long night dreary you should know the Savior cares. When in pain we have blinkers because of the sorrow. If his eye is on the sparrow as small as it is and in open space with no employment or house then how would he not have his eye on you, natures created gift, his greatest creation. My story is diferent from yours but the result we want from all our stories is the same. We want him to answer our prayers, we want to be happy, we want to love and be loved senselessly. I do not want to just be ok l want to be great. In my search for God l have realized that greatness is more than achievable. There is nothing imposible with him.
