The book I will be talking about is Queen of Water. The author of the book is Laura Resau and is based on true life events. I am going to be comparing and contrasting, the events of María Virginia’s life and how it was related to salvery. I think her life was like being a slave. I conclude that she hated working for the doctirita. The way that María Virginia was treated like a slave was she was beaten by her owner. She never got paid at all, which some slaves didn’t paid at all. She got housing which slaves did get housing.
