Listing of alternative courses of action that could be taken & Evaluation of alternative courses of action.

1. Team Work

* Sniff and Scurry display team work in their quest to find cheese. They work together. Sniff, “sniffed ahead” and Scurry, “scurried ahead” looking for cheese. Their effective team work allowed them to stay on the cheese. In order to work effectively together the two of them had to communicate well with each other. Hem and Haw did not work together.

2. Listening

* Sniff and Scurry demonstrated how important it is to listen to each other. By listening to each other they were able to navigate the maze and find cheese. Hem demonstrated how not to listen. Hem would not listen to Haw when Haw was trying to get him to move forward.

3. Motivate

* Haw used motivational quotes to communicate with not only others but himself. His quotes kept him focused on changing with change. His quotes were also left for Hem, in case he decided to join the journey.

4. Imagination and Creativity

* Spencer Johnson, the author used his imagination in creating these characters, the maze, and the cheese. His ability to use his imagination and creativity was an effective communication tool. If the book had been about four ordinary people, the book would not have the same effect. 5. Accept Change

* A person should realize if they are not changing and looking to get better they will get comfortable and be left behind the times. Don’t be afraid to change. Change is a good thing. Make the most of it. A person should move from their comfort zones.

6. Have a faith

* You will find a new cheese if you start to search on it. There is a lot opportunity out there waiting for you. If you have trouble finding new cheese, there is some training you can take. However, you will need to do this on your own time. Do you really think you should be allowed to learn something on company time. Remember, you are not allow to do anything productive when you don’t have cheese. 7. Seek opportunity

* If you run out of cheese you’ll be assigned to do meaningless tasks until you learn not to run out of cheese. Also, these tasks will take all of your time so you will not be able to look for new cheese and never turn down cheese offered to you just because you’ve never seen that kind before and have no idea what to do with it. When someone brings unfamiliar cheese to you, your response should be “I’ve done this many times.

8. Monitor your current situation

* It’s foolish and naive to believe that everything in life is going to remain exactly is. It’s better to be aware that change can come at any time and to be open to the possibility. Your best option is to be diligent in taking inventory of your situation on a regular basis. For example from the story two mice beware about their current situation which is the amount of cheese become lesser.

Recommendation of the best course of action.
On one hand, Life will not depend on people’s will, and change will happen in anytime. The best choice is to adapt to the change, and to find new cheese. Facing change, we need to take action firstly, do not complicate simple things. Secondly, we need to keep the concept of changing. We begin to look for new cheese when we still have delicious cheese. Prepare for the new change anytime. In fact, it is more horrible to be afraid to change our inside fear than to look for new change. Whatever change happens, we need to remember to change ourselves, adapting to the change, but hoping it change to what it used to be. If we take different attitudes toward changes and if we take different paces for the actions, it will have different results. The society which we live in is just like a huge maze there are different kinds of people. On the other hand, change will happen in any second. There is no predictor in the world. No one would know what will happen after the change. Note the change is not the biggest tough we should meet. The biggest one is how to make a decision to accept it and take action as soon as possible, but not be afraid of changing. In short, modern society is great demand for adapting to change. Only can the people with this ability do things better.

The four of them live in a maze and spend their days scurrying about in the eternal pursuit of cheese, however each of the four has his own unique approach to this hunt. Sniff is extremely good at sniffing out cheese, while Scurry specializes in scurrying after newly discovered cheese. Hem and Haw are not so single-minded in their cheese pursuit, but rather spend more time philosophizing about the hunt. The two mice, however, never stop exploring their surroundings and are constantly attuned to change in their environment. Meanwhile the supply of cheese is slowly dwindling and one day this chunk of cheese is finally exhausted and the four are left with nothing. The report is written from the perspective of a placement student working for Shoreditch House for the duration of one year; spending time working on all floors, primarily in front of hour, largely in the Events department. We suggest that social movements can fuel solutions to three challenges in creating new market segments: entrepreneurial production, the creation of collective producer identities, and the establishment of regular exchange between producers and consumers. We use qualitative data on the grassroots coalition movement that has spurred a market for grass-fed meat and dairy products in the United States since the early 1990s. Our analysis shows that the movement’s participants mobilized broad cultural codes and that these codes motivated producers to enter and persist in a nascent market, shaped their choices about production and exchange technologies, enabled a collective identity, and formed the basis of the products’ exchange value.• The creation of new markets is an important engine of economic and cultural change. But new markets do not emerge naturally; rather, they often arise from collective projects that mobilize the necessary economic, cultural, and socio-political resources (Fligstein, 1996; Swedberg, 2005).
