Why is abortion so popular today? Eastern Europe has the highest abortion rate in the world at forty-three abortions per 1,000 women. Also, in the U.S., African American women are at least five times more likely to have an abortion. Almost 1,876 African American babies are aborted every day. This is a high killing rate for unborn children. No one knows what an asset these children could grow up to be. Americans should take more of a stand against abortions.

Is it considered a good? Having an abortion is a traumatic experience for a woman. It may be an American constitutional right but that does not make it a good idea. Having an abortion may seem to solve a problem at that time but overall it can be bad for the body. This process is terrible for the unborn baby, who is a living human being inside of the mother’s womb from the time of conception. Not only is the process bad for the baby, but it also takes a toll on the mother’s body. During the time of pregnancy a mother’s body is preparing itself for birth. Just like an athlete would prepare for a big game, the woman’s body works to prepare for birth . However, when abortion takes place this eliminates the process. For example, when a woman leaves the abortion clinic, she is just like an athlete leaving the stadium before the game. When the baby has been four weeks inside the mother, the fetus has brain cells for feeling and thinking.
