...Assignment 2: Why are you here now? Anna Jang Why are you here now? This is a very subjective question because it could have several different meaning depending on an individual’s aspects. The three key words in this question are, “you,” “here” and “now.” I believe the answer will depend on an individual’s concept of these terms. To me, “you,” “here” and “now” mean something very general about life. I consider “you” as a person’s own embodiment and physical being. “Here” means the world that person lives in and “now” as in this moment. So in conclusion, the question “Why are you here now?” means “Why am I in this world at the moment?” Of course I realize, my definition would be prejudiced to another individual’s. For example; “Why are you here now?” could mean “Why am I standing in this puddle when it’s raining?” or “Why am I in this course when I’m only in grade 11?” I find that this all depends on perspective. Going back to my original definition of “Why are you here now,” I think the reason I am in this world is unknown at this point in my life. I definitely have not experienced, learned and grown enough to make that assessment but I have faith that I will learn it one day. There is no way to know your reason for life if you have not participated in the fullness of it. There is a purpose to individual life, and to me, the goal is to find out. I’ll never really be able to know until I evaluate my existence at the end of...

...So why are you in here? People say that I am crazy for what I did and they are right. I didn’t care, I ruined my life badly. I had it all to be successful and blissful, but at the time I wasn’t thinking clearly. I let my anger and pride take over me and when you are angry, depressed, and lost, loneliness is not the best advisor. Here is my story… Life hasn’t been easy for me; my father walked out of my life when I was 3 months old leaving my mother and I to struggle. To be honest, I held a grudge towards him for leaving us but mother taught me to forgive to be forgiven. She taught me many valuable lessons in life and even though she didn't have a high school diploma her words were wise. She always encouraged me to best the person that...

This area is a SHORT summary – its purpose is to entice the reader to open the case and read it. This is the LAST section that you should complete after you’ve reached a decision(s). It also should be on its own page as well, and it should “fill” the page. It’s a good idea to list (in point form – usually numbered) the alternatives that you have decided to investigate. A few things that I believe you need to know before coming into arrowhead is that you are not special. Just because you come here doesn’t mean that things will be given to you. You don’t get an A+ or an F-, you deserve it. You came here because you know that it will help you be better not that things will be given to you. You work for it hard enough, you will get it. Don’t over work yourself, because for teachers, less is more, dependent on the teacher. ...Canadian Identity? When you first entered Canada and now, has it changed? Canadian Identity is someone that can be identified as a Canadian. To be a Canadian there are different ways that you could identify yourself as a Canadian whether as an immigrant who became a citizen or Canadian born. Before I came in here I was expected to be a citizen as I was a “highly skilled worker” and entered here with my Public Relations, and came knowing already that Canada was the best place to live in the world, not America. I came with high expectations and with the mindset of living a better life which of course we are all living now. So in a recall, identity gives you the rights as a citizen and causes national pride for...
