Schools should no longer have homework. Homework cause a lot of extra stress. Homework lessens the interaction between a parent and their child. People may not have the knowledge or the time for it. So ideally homework is just a pure waste of time and effort.

Homework gives disquiet. You come home from a long day of school but yet to overcome the fear of finishing your homework. Will you finish it by tomorrow or take the shame of failing. Fear comes to you like metal would to a magnet, when you get stuck a question with no help, you will get stressed. If you have a bad day at school doesn't exempt you from doing your homework. Homeworks could also cause dilemma. If you have to do your homework or go to your grandma’s 90th birthday. You would get stressed a lot because your parents might be begging to go to grandma but somewhere in your mind its telling if you don’t do your homework you will fail. This could be a main reason why it causes stress why I will further explain on how homework reduces significantly most of your family time. For example pretend a parent wants to start a discussion with a child, it wouldn’t spark a conversation because the child would say I am busy with homework. I could relate this with me because when I come home, the first thing my parents ask me is lets have a family night and I would always respond with the same, I have a lot of homework. If schools were to stop giving homework, I could have, so as other students have fun and spend more time with the family.
