When I came to Biola, I was unsure whether Biola was the university I wanted to attend. It was, in fact, my last choice. The weekend I arrived at Biola, I was unsettled, unsure, and unhappy. Perhaps it was because of the reluctance of wanting to attend another Christian institution or because I didn't feel as if Biola would be an adequate institution. In addition, I had a hard time finding my self and being confident in my own person. I was suddenly surrounded by so many people who were different, amazing, and unique. I began to doubt myself. I had so much mixed emotions, and I didn't know what to do. It was the night of the first Sunday chapel that I found peace amidst my turmoil.
