In The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind, by William Kamkwamba and Bryan Mealer, we see both physical and emotional struggle that William had to go through to build his windmill. The passage I chose on page 148 is when cholera plagued the country of Malawi. At the time when cholera took over, the famine was also taking place. William, his family and the community were already struggling to survive because they had little food. Now, they couldn't drink the water because it could have the bacteria that cholera caused. Luckily, the government sent chlorine packets to William’s family to put in their water, so they had a chance of survival. But others weren't so lucky. Most of the community didn't get the chlorine packets, so they would drink the water
