NEW NINTENDO GALLERY FIGURES:
NOTE: These are simply the figurines which it is possible to get right after you've opened the gallery. Of course you can wait until you have easier and faster means of travel before getting them; I just list them here to be thorough. I highly recommend, however, getting all the figurines of the
Koroks before finishing the Forest Haven Dungeon, or else they will move from the Deku Tree Forest Haven area and become harder to find.
=Forest Haven Room:
Aldo- The first ground-level Korok you should see after getting out of the water inside the Haven.
Carlov the Sculptor- The man who makes all the figurines.
Deku Tree- Take a picture of its face, from the lilipad in front of it.
Drona- Ground-level Korok with a yellow face, flying around on the small island past the potion shop.
Elma- After leaving the Haven past the giant tall grass arrow on the high platform, this is the first Korok you'll see outside.
Hollo- The Korok who owns the Potion Shop on the ground level.
Irch- When using the purple plants to launch yourself up, this Korok is on the first branch platform.
Linder- This Korok is right in front of the Potion Shop.
Manny- This is the yellow-haired boy inside Nintendo Gallery.
Oakin- The Korok on ground level, next to a purple plant.
Olivio- This Korok is outside on the platform right before the dungeon, with the whirlwind swirling around it.
Rown- The Korok on the high platform with the giant tall grass arrow.
=Dragon Roost Island Room:
Baito- This is the man attendant who works with the Rito mail service after you completed the letter-sorting minigame.
Basht & Bisht- The two white Ritos standing guard in front of a doorway on the ground floor and outside the Chieftain's room. You only need a photo of one of them to get the figurine.
Chieftain- He stands in his room on the second floor of the structure.
Hoskit- The white Rito standing guard in front of the Chieftain's room; he asks you to get 20 Golden Feathers for him.
Ilari- Ilari is standing on the left-side flight platform, facing the sea. To get a photo of him facing you, you will have to get a good angle. Set the wind to blow east, then use the Deku Leaf and jump off the platform east, landing on a rocky plateau with a flat top. Be careful of the enemy flying birds nearby, turn and face Ilari, and zoom in as far as you can to take the shot.
Koboli- This is the older looking Rito to the left of Baito at the mail service counter. Kogoli (MISSABLE)- Kogoli is the wide-eyed Rito who may be found either on the ground floor or outside on the flight platforms. Be sure to get his photo before you play the Earth God's Lyric to Medli to open the Earth Temple, or he will be gone forever!
Namali- One of the Ritos carrying letters and walking around in the main room.
Pashli- The other Rito carrying letters and walking around in the main room.
Quill the Postman- His figurine is gotten free with the Chieftain's photo.
Skett & Akoot- The two white Ritos standing guard in the Chieftain's room; you only need a photo of one of them.
Valoo- The huge red dragon you saved in the Dragon Roost dungeon. Sail close to the island so you can see his silhouette at the peak of the mountain, and take a photo of it.
=Dungeon Room:
Beko Baba- These are the large purple piranha plants. There are several leading up to the Forest Haven.
Bokoblin- Mini moblins carrying small swords, found almost everywhere.
ChuChu- Slimy creatures found on most islands and in many dungeons; green and red are the most common types.
Kargarok- The large, dark birds serving under Ganondorf; the largest of them stole your sister away. They can be found flying around the peaks of Dragon
Roost Island and Fire Mountain.
Keese & Fire Keese- These bats are found all over Dragon Roost dungeon.
Magtail- Fiery centipede-like creatures. There are a couple of them in the final room of Dragon Roost dungeon before the boss room.
Octorok- These creatures jump up out of the water and shoot spiked balls or bombs at you; there are several leading up to the Forest Haven.
Peahat- Small, flying helicopter-like enemies found near the entrance to the
Forbidden Woods Dungeon and inside it.
Rat- These rats steal your coins and can be found in Dragon Roost or in submarines found in the sea.
=Forsaken Fortress Room:
Big Octo (MISSABLE)- When you encounter these giant blue octupi in the sea, they will trap you and try to suck you in their mouth. There is one of them at Fire Mountain that can be easily photographed. Also, be sure to take a big octo photo of one before you kill all of them, or they won't come back.

Anton- The man with green overalls who falls in love with the woman in the orange dress.
Candy- The buff sailor standing at the docks of Windfall, facing the sea.

Necklaces, you can play a minigame with the pigs.

Gillian- The woman behind the counter at the Windfall bar.

Kane- The sailor near the docks, facing the white Windfall arch.
Killer Bees- The four little kids you played hide-and-go-seek with for a
Heart Piece.
Kreeb- The man standing next to the windmill gondolas, and he tells you how the windmill is powered.
Lenzo- The owner of the Picto Box shop.
Linda- The woman in the orange dress standing next to the Battleship game shop.
Maggie's father- The old man near the docks who begs you to find his daughter
Maggie. After you rescue her, he lives in the Auction House.

After you rescue his daughter he's found underneath the tree near the docks, extremely poor.
Minenco- The woman standing right outside the ChuChu Shop.

Old Man Ho-Ho- This man is found on many islands, staring out at the sea with his telescope.
Salvage Corp.- The treasure seeking diver-group, who gave you a treasure chart.
They can be found at Pawprint Isle or Eastern Triangle Isle.
Salvatore- The owner of the Battleship game shop on Windfall Island.
Wandering Merchant- The heavily-burdened Goron carrying a large sack and found on several islands, including Bomb Island.

- Get Silver Rupee (Dragon Roost Island)
This is the treasure from Treasure Chart #39, found on the northeast side of
Dragon Roost Island. Use the Grappling Hook while on the boat to search for the treasure; you can see its location from a distance.
- Get Silver Rupee (Eastern Triangle Isle)
Go back to the red boat and play the Wind's Requiem. The boat won't leave until the wind points south, so do that. When you try to leave the area, a fish will mark Dragon Roost Island on your map for you; from now on, look for fish swimming around the various islands around the sea, and throw bait at them to get them to mark your map. The Silver Rupee is the treasure from
Treasure Chart #34. Sail south two tiles from Dragon Roost Island to reach
Eastern Triangle Isle.
- Get Bottle #2 (Bomb Island)
Continue south from the isle to reach the Bomb Island area. Use the telescope to locate a submarine floating south of the island, then go to it and enter it. Defeat the enemies inside and get the Bottle from the chest.
- Get Deku Leaf (Forest Haven)
Sail south from Bomb Island to reach Forest Haven, your next main destination.
Climb up the ledges, killing the plant enemies. Grapple across the river and deflect the monster's shots with your shield, and enter the main interior.
Step on the lily pad in front of the Great Deku Tree, and he will become engulfed in Chu-Chus. Ram into the tree and destroy the enemies. After the cutscene, use the purple flower-launchers to launch from platform to platform, higher and higher. At the first tree branch, grapple across to the next flower, and continue up. Get the Deku Leaf at the top.
- Get Treasure Chart #3 (Forest Haven)
Face the opposite way from the ledge with the Deku kid, jump off the tree branch and float with the Deku Leaf to the flower, then launch up and float to the high ledge. Now use the flower on this ledge to reach the ledge on the opposite side of the room, still higher up- you have to launch up to another tree branch, then jump from the branch to the ledge. Go outside, then pull out your Wind Waker and make the wind blow south. Jump off the ledge and float with the Deku Leaf to the isolated platform with many trees. Get this
Treasure Chart from the chest there.
- Open Nintendo Gallery/Get Deluxe Picto Box (Windfall Island)
You can now begin the Nintendo Gallery quest; also, there are a few more sidequests available back at Windfall Island. First, to open up the Nintendo
Gallery, purchase one or two Hyoi Pears from Beedle's Shop. Then, from the
Forest Haven interior, use the flowers to get to the very top; when you reach the spot where you found the Deku Leaf, face opposite from the ledge with the giant arrow, and jump to the flower with the Deku Leaf, and the ledge after that. On this ledge, leave the interior to get to the outside. Make the wind point north towards the large platform in the distance, then use the leaf to float to it. Upon landing, use a Hyoi Pear to take control of a seagull. As the seagull, fly into the switch in the side of the mountain to open up the entrance to the Nintendo Gallery. Inside is the man who will craft figurines from photos you take- but you need a Deluxe Picto Box first. To get that, first go to the Forest Haven interior and catch a forest firefly in one of your bottles; they are the tiny sparks that fly around. Now, sail all the way back to Windfall Island, and enter the Picto Box shop near the town school.
Speak to the man there, and agree to become his apprentice. You must complete three tasks to become a 'master photographer':
First task: For this photograph, your subject is the man wearing red that hangs around near the Picto Box shop, then slowly walks towards the postbox at the entrance to town. Wait for the man to walk to the postbox, then snap a photo of him when he has the letter in his hand, putting it into the postbox. Be sure to get a fairly close-up shot, and give the photograph to the Picto man to finish your first task.
Second task: Go to the Windfall Inn, which is near the merchant's stall. Roll into the wall near the tables, and take a picture of the man that starts quivering in fear. Show this picture to the Picto man to complete the second task. Third task: Your subject is the man wearing green overalls walking the outskirts of town; follow him until he walks near the woman in an orange dress near the Battleship minigame shop. When he passes her, they glance at each other- take a picture of them at that moment to fulfill the final task.
After you've completed all the tasks, give the bottled forest firefly to the
Picto man to have your Picto Box upgraded into a Deluxe Picto Box! You can now begin taking photos, 3 at a time, for the Nintendo Gallery at Forest
Haven.
- Get Heart Piece #6 (Windfall Island)
Go back to the stall where you bought the Boat's Sail. Talk to the merchant a couple times and agree to help him, and he will give you a Town Flower. Talk to the merchant again at the right-hand stall and purchase as many Town
Flowers as you can hold. Take these flowers and set them in the brown pedestals around town; there are two at the merchant's shop, three at the bench to the left of the shop, two on the wooden platform at the winding stairs, one next to the Chu Jelly shop, and six atop the white arch. Talk to the man sitting on the bench afterwards to get a Heart Piece.

- Get Heart Piece #8 (Windfall Island)
You can now get this Heart Piece after getting the Deluxe Picto Box. Go back to the woman in the orange dress near the Battleship game shop, and talk to her. Now find the man in the green overalls who you took a photo of previously and talk to him. Go back to the woman and take a full-bodied photo of her, and show the photo to the man. If he likes the photo, you've succeeded. Use the Song of Passing to make a few days pass, then enter the
Windfall bar. Talk to the newly married couple for a Heart Piece!
- Get Treasure Chart #29 (Windfall Island)
Make the wind blow north, then go around to the backside of the building with the giant windmill, climb up the ladder, and press the switch to get the windmill to start working. Enter the Battleship game shop, go up the stairs and outside, and ride one of the windmill gondolas. Jump from the gondola to the top porch of Lenzo's Pictograph shop, and go through the door. This chart is in the left-hand chest at the end of the hallway.
- Get Treasure Chart #24 (Windfall Island)
Go through the crawlspace at the end of this hallway and drop out the end.
Now hide behind the railway and take a picture of Lenzo and the lady, then leave the shop. Go find the two gossiping women near the trade shop, talk to them a couple times and show them this photo, and they'll give you this chart.
Get Treasure Chart #31 (Windfall Island)
Wait until there's a full moon at night, then take a photo of it. Show it to the gloomy boy sitting on the steps, and he'll give you this chart.
Get Treasure Chart #33 (Windfall Island)
Take a picture of the woman standing right outside the ChuChu shop, then show her the picture of herself to get another chart.
Get Heart Piece #9 (Forest Haven)
This is the treasure from Treasure Chart #31.

NEW NINTENDO GALLERY FIGURINES:
=Forest Haven Room:
Makar- The Korok being held hostage. Get its photo right after killing the boss of the dungeon.
=Dungeon Room:
Morth- The tiny black spiked balls that latch onto Link but don't hurt him.
=Forsaken Fortress Room:
Kalle Demos- The boss of this dungeon. This is the only place you can get its photo, so don't miss it!
Mothula- These large moth-like insects spit Morths out and can be harmful to
Link. The winged and non-winged Mothula are considered the same creature.
Moblin- These large spear-wielding creatures are the larger cousins of the
Bokoblins. You fight two of them after finding the Big Key.
To the dungeon: To get to the Forbidden Woods dungeon, once again launch up the Forest Haven interior, and this time, glide over to the ledge with the giant arrow on it. Go outside, and stand on the cliff edge. Make the wind point southwest, then glide over to the platform. Now make the wind point northwest, towards the dungeon. Wait for the wind cyclone to approach, then jump into it with the Deku Leaf and let it launch you upwards, then float over to the dungeon entrance.
Dungeon notes: A large dungeon filled with repetitive puzzle elements: use varying items to kill plants blocking doors, use of the purple launching plants to get to hard-to-reach places, and use of the Deku Leaf in many different ways. Use the Grappling Hook on the Peahats to get a large supply of Golden
Leaves; this is the best place to stock up and get your 20. The Boomerang is a fantastic item which lets you target up to five objects or enemies at once, useful both as a ranged weapon and as a tool to open locked areas. The winged
Mothula guarding the Boomerang looks scary, but it's easily defeated by blowing a gust of wind at it with the Deku Leaf and attacking it when it's stunned. Remember that you can't fly or blow wind with the Deku Leaf if it's out of magic power, but the purple plants refill your magic meter. There are again three teleporting pots to make travel easier: one in the first room, one in the large room where you cut the vines off of a huge platform to send it crashing into the floor below, and one in the room right before the boss.
To get to the pot in the flower room, find the door with the tentacle-like platforms that move up and down right outside. Ride the platforms up, then blow away the pile of leaves on the top platform with the Deku Leaf to reveal the pot. The boss is also pretty simple: just aim at the tentacles attached to the ceiling with the Boomerang, then slice up the small creature in the middle of the plant when it falls to the ground.
To the map:
- Go up the ramp on the right side of the room and open the chest for the map.
To the compass:
- Pick up the large coconut on the northwest corner of the room, throw it at the plant on the door, and go through to the next room.
- Use the purple plants and the Defu Leaf to float from platform to platform to reach the door on the other side, up on the second floor. Use the bomb plant nearby to blow up the plant on the door and go through.
- Use the Deku Leaf to blow a gust of wind at the wind propellor to the left to bring the platform over, get on the platform and blow wind at the propellor again to take the platform to the other side. Go through the door.
- Go to the far side of the room, kill the enemies and use the purple flowers to launch up to the door. Use the wind propellor and ride the platform over to the other side, break the wood and grab the coconut, then ride back across and throw the coconut at the door to open it.
- Use the Deku Leaf to blow the coconut towards the door, use it to smash the plant on the door and go through.
- Go right and grapple across to the next platform, jump across two more platforms to one with a coconut on it. Pick it up, jump to the central platform, then to the west door, throw the coconut at the plant on the door and go through.
- Go down the hallway and through the next door.
- Carefully go straight, turn left and go through the tentacle maze to get to a bomb flower. Blow the boards away with the bomb and open the chest to get the Compass.
To the secret item:
- Pick up the bomb flower again and throw it at the other wooden gate to blow it up. From the entrance go right, then go through the maze to the opposite side of the room. Use the purple plants to get a Joy Pendant from the pots, open the chest for a key, then go back to the room with the giant hanging central platform.
- Jump to the platform with the locked door, unlock it and go through.
- Use the wind propellors and the platform to reach the next door and enter.
- Use the purple plants to launch up to the fourth floor, then go through the north door.
- Defeat the mini-boss and get the Boomerang from the chest.
To the boss:
- Use the Boomerang and aim at both crystals above the south door, hit them both and go through the door.
- On the fourth floor, find a grappling overhang and use it, then climb up the rope on top of the overhang. Grapple the next overhang above it and drop onto the platform, then jump on the rising platforms to the top. Open the chest on the ledge here for a Joy Pendant. Drop back down to the fourth floor, destroy the two plants on the door with the Boomerang and go through.
- Destroy the vines in the room with the Boomerang, float across with the Deku Leaf and get the Joy Pendant from the chest, then go through the south door.
- Use the Boomerang to destroy all the vines and drop the central platform. Drop down to the B1 floor and go through the door.
- Jump to the path on the right and go through the door.
- Use the Boomerang to destroy the vines and drop the flower. Pick up the bomb to the left and use it to destroy the boards to the right, and go through the unblocked door.
- (OPTIONAL) In this new room, if you have the GBA connected, you can get another Tingle Statue here. On the GBA, bomb the question mark spot in the southeast corner of the room to reveal the chest with the statue. In the next room will be another smaller flower that you need to also knock down. After doing so - use the bomb flower to blow up the wooden planks to unlock a door. Enter the door and then travel to the lonely platform on the right that has 3 trees. Use a bomb on the platform to spawn a chest
- Jump to the central platform, then go behind the center tree and jump up the small platforms here and use the purple plant to reach a higher ledge. Use the wind propellors and the platform to reach the opposite side. Pick up the bomb plant and throw it down the tree stump hole to destroy the plant. Drop down and open the chest to get Treasure Chart #15. Go back to the previous room.
- Use the Boomerang to drop the flower again. Now stand on the flower and use the Deku Leaf to blow wind and move the flower down the river. Get off when when you reach land and go through the door.
- Climb up the spiral ramp, then use the Boomerang to hit the five crystal switches and open the gate. Open the chest to get the Big Key. To leave the room, get on the center structure and grapple to the door above.
- From the dungeon entrance, go through the door ahead. Drop down to the bottom floor, and throw the Boomerang at the plant covering the chest. Open it to get a Knight Crest.
- Use the purple flowers in this room to launch up to the door next to the bomb flower. Now use the purple flower next to the door to launch the platforms above. In the northeast corner destroy the coconut for a Joy Pendant, and in the southwest corner destroy the plant covering the chest to get Treasure Chart #1 from it.
- Return to the main room where the central hanging platform was and drop down to the second floor. Destroy the plants on the door and go through it.
- Kill the enemies and get the Joy Pendant from the chest, then go through the next door.
- Use the Big Key on the door to get to the boss.

- Get Heart Piece #10 (Forest Haven)
After beating the Forbidden Woods dungeon, check the nearby postbox. You will get a Heart Piece from inside a letter.
- Get Bombs (Pirate Ship)
You are now free to explore the entire Great Sea. Before embarking on a bunch of new sidequests, however, we will advance the story a little further. Sail to the spot the King of Red Lions marked on your map, which is Greatfish Isle.
After the cutscene, you must sail to Windfall Island to meet up with the pirates again. When you land on shore, go over to the Bomb Shop and sneak around behind it by shimmying across that ledge. Climb up the vines on the back of the shop and crawl through the crawlspace. During the cutscene, one of the pirates will mention the password to get into the ship. Remember that password, get over to the ship and give the password at the door to enter.
Head down the steps inside the ship to meet Niko again and to get another challenge. Step on the switch, then swing across all the ropes before the time runs out to get Bombs.
- Get Beedle's Chart (Postbox)
After getting the bombs, check any postbox soon afterwards and you should get this chart in the mail, which shows the locations of all Beedle's shops.
- Get Nayru's Pearl (Outset Island)
Get in your boat and sail back to Outset; it will stay night no matter how long you take. Land and say hi to your grandma (give her a fairy if you have one), then sail around to the backside of Outset. Use your ship as a cannon to blast down the giant wall before getting sucked in by the whirlpool, and you will get to Jabun. He will give you Nayru's Pearl, the final goddess's jewel.
- Get Heart Piece #11 (Swordsman's House)
Go back to Orca's house, the man who gave you your sword. He will challenge you to a swordfighting minigame. Hit him 100, 300, then 500 times with the sword without getting hit 3 times to get a Heart Piece.
- Get Big Wallet (Outset Island)
Now make your way back up the mountain on outset, to the bridge where your sister was kidnapped. Right behind the bridge is a big rock; get on top of it, make the wind blow west, and use the Deku Leaf to float over to the other side.
In the new area, go along the path until you see a big boulder in a small clearing. Use a bomb to blow it up and fall down the hole. The Great Fairy inside will give you the Big Wallet, which allows you to hold up to 1000 rupees. - Get Treasure Chart #8 (Horseshoe Island)
Our first round-trip across the Great Sea begins! Sail one tile west of Outset to get to Horseshoe Island. On the island, pick up the coconuts and throw them past the tentacles, then blow them into the hole with the Deku Leaf. Do this three times and a chest will appear; fly over to it and get the chart inside.
- Get Treasure Chart #28 (Horseshoe Island)
Fall into the hole at the top of the island here, then kill all the enemies to make a chest appear with another treasure chart.
- Get Heart Piece #12 (Needle Rock Isle)
Sail two tiles north of Horseshoe Island to get to Needle Rock. Get on the island and use a Hyoi Pear to take control of a seagull; if you don't have one get them from Beedle's shop. Fly up to the top of the pointed rock and ram the crystal switch. This removes the fire around the chest so you can get the heart piece inside.
- Get Heart Piece #13 (Greatfish Isle)
Sail northeast from Needle Rock to get to Greatfish again. Get to the rock on the southeast corner with a spiraling path around it. Stand at the top and look northwest through your telescope for a small ledge sticking out of a rock wall. Make the wind blow that way and fly over to it; in the crevice is a chest with a heart piece.
- Get Heart Piece #14 (Rock Spire Isle)
Sail one tile north of Greatfish to reach Rock Spire. When you spot two small ships firing bombs at you, shoot them both down with your bombs. One of the treasures they leave behind is a heart piece you can fish up with your grappling hook.
- Get Treasure Chart #37 (Rock Spire Isle)
Land on the island shores, and climb up the slope on the east side. Throw bombs at the boulders and jump across the platforms, then drop into the hole at the end. Light both torches and kill all the keese, and get this chart from the chest that appears.
- Get Heart Piece #15 (Star Island)
Sail two tiles north of Rock Spire to reach the tiny Star Island, and land ashore. Bomb the boulders until you find a hole, and drop through. Kill all the enemies and get the heart piece from the chest that appears.
- Get Treasure Chart #22 (Northern Fairy Island)

NEW NINTENDO GALLERY FIGURINES:
=Dungeon Room:
Armos- These smaller statues are used to solve several puzzles; when they are active they have glowing red posteriors.
Armos Knight- The large version of the Armos that must be defeated by throwing bombs into their mouths.
Red and Blue Bubbles- The flying skulls with a glowing mist about them, difficult to kill except by arrows.
=Forsaken Fortress Room:
Darknut- A large armored opponent with a huge sword. One of them guards the
Hero's Bow.
Gohdan- The boss of this dungeon: get its photo before you kill it.
To the dungeon: Simply visit the three places the boat king marked on your map, and set the pearls in the statue on each island to make the Tower of the Gods appear. Dungeon notes: You'll soon notice that you'll be able to take your boat around with you in this dungeon; he'll be able to transport you around the flooded interior of the central hub and some adjoining rooms. For the entire first floor, the giant statue in the center alternately raises and lowers the water level, and that comes into place for all the puzzles there. There are several new difficult enemies to deal with also: the Red and Blue Bubbles can only be stunned by the Deku Leaf before you get the Hero's Bow, after which they are easily destroyed; the Armos Knight, which are huge versions of the regular
Armos and must be destroyed by throwing bombs into their mouths; and the
Beamos, which can be destroyed by bombs but you should just try to avoid them.
Several times you'll have to find particular statues and carry them around from room to room. Often to get a statue somewhere you'll have to take direct control of it with the Command Melody. Once you get the Hero's Bow, you gain a huge advantage over most flying enemies. The boss, Gohdan, is another fairly simple opponent: target both of its hands with arrows to take them out, then aim for the head's eyes. Destroy both of them, and when it falls down with its mouth open, throw a bomb inside. Repeat until it's destroyed. And if you run out of arrows, it will conveniently drop a few extras from its nose.
To the map:
- From the entrance, cruise to the southeast corner of the room, wait for the water to lower, then go through the door here.
- When the water is low, push the bottom-right crate forward until it's below the cracked wall on the right side. When the water rises, bomb the wall and open the chest in the small alcove here to get the map, then return to the previous room.
To the compass:
- Cruise to the northeast corner of the room, wait for the water to rise, then climb onto the platform here. Pick up the Armos Statue that is not on a switch and place it on the glowing switch to unlock the door, and go through.
- Wait for the water to lower, then place a crate on the glowing switch, and climb back up the ladder. Cross the bridge when the water is low, then pick up the statue at the end of the room. Exit the room with the statue, then in the previous room, place the statue on the middle of the tiles to the left to unlock a sealed entrance.
- Get on your boat and go through this unsealed passage. At the end, place the Armos Statues on the switches and enter the doorway.
- When the water is lowered, align several crates in a straight line to the other side. Then light a stick from the pots and hop across the crates to the other side, light the torches, and get the key from the chest.
- In the previous room, get on your boat and cruise to the west side of the room, then blow up the cracked walls with your boat's bombs. Go through the door in the northwest corner of the room.
- Get the compass from the chest, then return to the previous room.
To the secret item:
- Get a stick from the pots to the left and set it on fire with the torch, then light the two torches in the southwest corner of the room. Get the Joy Pendant from the chest, then go through the locked door in the southwest corner.
- Kill the enemies in the room, then walk up the steps that appear and pick up the statue at the end. Take the statue to the previous room, then place it on the middle of the tile pattern in the northwest corner of the room.
- Swim over to the new entrance and go through the door.
- Place the two Armos statues on two of the switches at the end of the room and stand on the third, then ride the platforms up to the top of the room and go through the door.
- (OPTIONAL) Here's another opportunity for a Tingle Statue, in the room with the rising platforms. Ride up the platforms and stand outside the door to the next room. On the GBA, use a Tingle Bomb on the question mark on the stationary platform hanging in mid-air. This chest contains the third Tingle Statue. Traverse up the platforms until you reach the top one - turn around to find a stationary platform. Use a bomb on this platform to spawn a chest
- In the new room, go through the east door.
- Ride the platforms across and go through the next door.
- Get to the opposite side of the room and read the inscription on the tablet. Approach the statue on the platform and press the R button to "call" it, and it will follow you. Walk carefully along the winding path to the end where there is a short gap in the path. Pick up the statue and jump across, then carry it to the previous room. Ride the platform to the room before that, and the statue will place itself onto a platform.
- Read the inscription on the tablet that appears to learn the "Command Melody," then go through the west door.
- Grapple across to the opposite side and go through the next door.
- Grapple over the pit, call the statue to make it descend, then stand on the glowing switch. Play the Command Melody to take control of the statue, make it walk across the appearing bridge, then grapple back across. Pick up the statue, walk back to the previous room, and place the statue on the glowing switch. Swing over to the door that opened, and go through.
- Kill the Darknut and open the chest to get the Hero's Bow.
To the boss:
- In the previous room, shoot the eye on the opposite wall, then carry the statue across the moving platforms to the east room. The statue places itself onto the platform.
- Go back downstairs to the room in which you got the compass. Shoot the eye on the wall with an arrow, then open the chest in the alcove for Treasure Chart #6.
- In the main room of the second floor, go through the east door. Shoot the eye in the alcove to the south, then ride the new platform to a door. Kill the enemies to make a chest appear with a Joy Pendant.
- In the main room, go through the north, newly unlocked door.
- Jump onto the left-side hanging platform, throw a bomb at the cracked wall, and go through the door. Play the Wind's Requiem on the blue symbol on the floor to make a chest appear with Treasure Chart #30, then return to the previous room.
- Swim across to the opposite side and go through the east door.
- Get on the first platform, shoot at the eye on the stationary platform to get it to start moving, then get onto that platform. Open the chest on the ledge here to get a key.
- Continue riding the platforms up, then shoot the eye on the stationary platform across the room. Get on that platform, shoot the eye above the entrance doorway, then jump to the platform where the chest appeared. Open it for a Joy Pendant, then return to the previous room.
- Throw two Armos statues onto one of the hanging platforms, then jump across the other one to the opposite side. Go through the locked door.
- Stand on the pillar and fly over the beams with the Deku Leaf. Call the statue down, then play the Command Melody to take control of it. Move it through the beams and onto the glowing switch. Pick it up and go to the previous room.
- Set the statue down, throw three Armos statues onto a hanging platform, then pick up the statue and jump across the other platform back to the main room. The final statue moves into place. Step into the ray of light.
- Place two Armos statues on two glowing switches and stand on the third, then get the Big Key from the chest. Kill the Armos statues to unseal the door, and go through.
- Climb up the stairs, shoot the Beamos with arrows, and use the Big Key on the door at the top to get to the boss.

Zuko- His figurine comes free with Tetra's figurine.

- Get Master Sword (Hyrule Castle)
After you defeat Gohdan, you will appear on top of the tower. Use the
Grappling Hook and swing from the bell target. A hidden entrance will open up in the water, and the boat king will take you down into it. This is Hyrule
Castle, submerged under the water for many years. Walk inside the castle, and you will see that everything is frozen in time. Walk over to the Triforce pattern on the floor, and move the triangle-shaped blocks so that they form the
Triforce shape in the center of the diagram. This opens up a staircase, so go down to the floor below and get the Master Sword from the pedestal.
This also brings all the creatures above back to life, so now you must kill every single one of them with your new sword. After doing so, the rays blocking the exit disappear, and you can return from whence you came. Take your boat back to the surface, and you will be prompted to go to the Forsaken
Fortress.
- Learn "Ballad of Gales" (Mother & Child Isles)
On your way to the Fortress, stop by the Mother & Child Isles. Outside the main island you should see a giant, dangerous-looking tornado. Approach it and the wind god Cyclos will attack you. Shoot him down in his purple cloud with arrows, and he will give you this melody. Now you can automatically warp around the sea, without having to spend so much time sailing!
- Get Silver Rupee (Forsaken Fortress)
This is the treasure from chart #25.
- Get Skull Hammer (Forsaken Fortress)
Sail over to the south side of the Forsaken Fortress, where you can see a nice boarded up wall. Blow it down with your bombs, and go inside the fortress walls. After you go up the stairs you will be attacked by a Phantom Ganon; kill it by deflecting its energy balls with your sword and attacking it when it's stunned. Open the chest afterwards to get the Skull Hammer.
- Defeat Helmarog King (Forsaken Fortress)
Enter the newly opened door, then turn left and pound down the stakes with the
Skull Hammer. Go down the hallway and through the door. Go through this room, down another hallways and through the next door. Climb up the ladder on the beds and go through the door on the top floor to the outside. Continue down to the door on the other side, back indoors. In this room, climb up the steps and use the large, heavy wooden door to get back to the outside. Go up the long winding slope, past some more stakes, until you reach a ledge with a gap.
Fly over it with the Deku Leaf and over the next gap as well, and continue upwards. Smash the stake in to open the door, and enter the structure to see your little sister Aryll and the other girls yet again. Tetra and the pirates show up to rescue them, and you suddenly get attacked by the Helmaroc King!
Run up the circling pathways as fast as possible to get out of the fortress, without getting knocked into the water. When you reach the top and the King tries to block you, smash its face in with your Skull Hammer. Now once you are out on the roof, the real battle with the bird begins. Avoid its lunges, and when it gets its beak stuck in the ground, smash it with your hammer until its mask is destroyed. Then, wait for it to land and attack its head with arrows and your sword until it dies.
- Get Heart Container (Forsaken Fortress)
This is your reward for killing the Helmaroc King. Now go up the ramp to meet
Ganondorf at last- but unfortunately, your sword is useless against him. After being rescued by Valoo and the Ritos, you are taken back down to sunken Hyrule with Tetra. Return to the room where you received the Master Sword to meet the
King of Hyrule. After the cutscene, you will once again be taken back outside to begin the next part of your quest.
- Get Fire Arrows (Mother & Child Isles)
- Get Ice Arrows (Mother & Child Isles)
Warp to the Mother & Child Islands with the Ballad of Gales, and the Queen
Fairy inside will give you the Fire and Ice Arrows.
- Get IN-credible Chart (201 rupees) (Postbox)
After the last dungeon, this chart should appear in your postbox soon, though it isn't free. This shows the locations of all the hidden Triforce charts.
- Get Power Bracelets (Fire Mountain)
Fly to the Fire Mountain, right below Dragon Roost. Shoot an Ice Arrow at the flames spouting out the top to get rid of the lava and make a 5 minute counter begin. Climb up the small mountain and jump up the hole at the top. Inside, jump across all the lava platforms and kill the magtails at the end to make a chest appear with the Power Bracelets inside.
- Get Iron Boots (Ice Ring Isle)
Now head to the northwest side of the Ice Ring Isle and shoot a Fire Arrow at the icy mist-blowing structure to make another 5 minute counter begin. Climb up onto the shore and make your way carefully around the icy perimter around the isle. Jump across the platforms and fall down the hole inside the little structure. Inside, slide down the two icy slides to get to the chest containing the Iron Boots. If you fall, swim over to the isolated platform and look for targets you can use to grapple up to.
- Get Treasure Chart #36 (Ice Ring Isle)
On the east side of the outer perimeter of the isle is a chest inside a frozen glacier. Melt it with a Fire Arrow and open the chest for a chart.
- Get Hurricane Sword Spin (10 Knight Crests) (Swordsman's House)
If you've collected all the Knight Crests from the dungeons and Darknuts so far, you should have 10 Knight Crests. Give them to Orca at Outset Island and he will teach you this advanced sword technique.
- Get Heart Piece #35 (Outset Island)
Head over to Abe's house, the house with the giant pig outside of it. With your Power Bracelets, pick up the pig, then carry it to the bottom of the hill and all the way across the bridge. Set it down at the two large mounds of grey dirt near the big field of grass. Throw some bait near the two mounds and the pig should dig a hole, popping up a few items. Keep doing this in different spots until it digs up a heart piece.
- Get 60 Arrows Upgrade (Western Fairy Island)
When you get to this island, pound the nearby stake with the Skull Hammer, and enter the hole to get this upgrade from the Great Fairy.
- Get 99 Arrows Upgrade (Thorned Fairy Island)
This island is directly east of East Triangle Island. Pound the three stakes outside to make the tentacles disappear. The Great Fairy inside the structure gives you the last arrows upgrade.
- Get Heart Piece #36 (Forest Haven)
Sail to Forest Haven and talk to the Deku Tree. Ask him about the Island
Koroks, and he will mark on your map the locations of all the Koroks who are on an island in the Great Sea, each standing next to a withering tree. Scoop up some of the water inside the haven with one of your bottles. In less than
20 minutes, you have to get to each Korok and pour some of the spring water on each tree. If the time runs out, you must start all over again. From the haven, sail east to Cliff Plateau Isles. Hop along the cliffs and into the hole, make your way through the cave and past the broken boards, then get to the withered tree on top of the tallest cliff. After pouring the spring water on it, get on your boat, warp to Southern Fairy Island, and sail west to Shark
Island. The Korok is found on the north end of the tiny island. Warp to
Greatfish Isle next, and get on the plateau with the spiraling path around it.
At the top is the next Korok. Sail southwest to Needle Rock Isle next; the
Korok is on the south end of the island. Warp to Tingle Island, and sail northwest to the Mother & Child Isles; the Korok is on a little island outside the main structure. Sail north to Star Island and get to the Korok in the middle of the island. Now warp to the Tower of the Gods and sail north to get to the Korok on the Eastern Fairy Island. You should have plenty of time now to get to the last Korok, standing near the pool on the Private Oasis. The last Korok you help will give you a heart piece.
- Get Bottle #4 (Windfall Island)
During the night, Mila, one of the young girls you rescued, hangs around outside the Auction House. Talk to her, then quickly run away. Follow her at a distance, but don't get too close. If she spots you, then enter and exit a shop to make her respawn at the Auction House. Eventually she will get to
Zunari's shop and sneak her way in the back. There is a safe in the back of the shop, which she tries to get into. Approach her from behind as she's working the safe and talk to her. Answer the first option each time, and she will give you a free Bottle.
- Get Treasure Chart #2 (20 Skull Necklaces) (Windfall Island)
You should have at least 20 Skull Necklaces from fighting Moblins so far. Head to the Windfall Auction house, second floor. Give the decrepit old man the necklaces and get this chart as your reward.
- Get Heart Piece #37 (Windfall Island)
Also in the second floor of the Auction House, talk to Maggie, the rich girl at the back of the room. Agree to help her out, and take the letter she gives you to the postbox. After mailing it, return to the Auction House to see the
Rito postman and Maggie's father fighting. After the postman leaves, go over to the Windmill bar to find him. Talk to him and take the Moblin's letter, then deliver it to Maggie. She'll reward you with a heart piece.
- Get Heart Piece #38 (Windfall Island)
Go over to the windmill at night and make sure it's operating. Hop on one of the gondolas and ride it to the top; stand on the edge of the gondola for better aim. There is a small gold structure at the top of the lighthouse the windmill is attached to; shoot a Fire Arrow into the revolving machine to get the lighthouse operating again. Talk to the man in the orange shirt next to the windmill to get a heart piece.
- Get Heart Piece #39 (Windfall Island)
After lighting the lighthouse, ride a gondola up to the very top and make the wind point south. Fly with the Deku Leaf past the Bomb Shop to a tiny platform in the water just past it with a treasure chest. Open it for a heart piece.
- Get Treasure Chart #16 (Seven-Star Isles)
Find the three pirate platforms near these isles, and defeat all the enemies and Wizzrobes that appear. You will get this in a chest as your reward.
- Get Treasure Chart #13 (Two-Eye Reef)
Sail over to Two-Eye Reef, sail to the interior of the reef, and get your bomb cannon ready. Destroy every pirate ship and wall-cannon in the reef, and a chest will appear on one of the platforms. Walk along the perimeter of the reef, then jump from the highest part onto the central platform with the Deku
Leaf to get to the chest and claim the chart.

Repeat the same process stated above for each of these reefs: destroy the wall cannons and pirate ships to make a chest appear containing a chart.
Four-Eye Reef is located just south of the Forsaken Fortress, and Cyclops Reef is east of Greatfish Isle.
- Get Platform Chart (Flight Control Platform)
Find the submarine near the Flight Control Platform and enter it. Defeat the waves of enemies until the ladder drops down, and climb up it to get this chart as your reward. This shows the locations of all the tall pirate platforms in the Great Sea. Any platforms with minor rewards like rupees or spoils are not included in this walkthrough, so feel free to explore them yourself.
- Get Island Hearts Chart (Flight Control Platform)
This is the treasure from chart #19. You should have most of the heart pieces by now, but this can help you with ones you missed.

- Learn "Wind God's Aria" (Gale Isle)
Gale Isle is directly north of Windfall Island. Upon arriving, put on your
Iron Boots. Walk through the gusting wind, smash the blowing statue with the
Skull Hammer, then walk in the cave. The giant tablet inside teaches the
Wind God's Aria. Fado the Kokiri appears and asks you to find one who can play his instrument and open the Wind Temple.
- Learn "Earth God's Lyric" (Headstone Island)
Sail to Headstone Island and dock on the shores. Lift up the giant stone head there with your Power Bracelets and enter the cave. Observe the huge stone tablet and play the song printed there to learn the Earth God's Lyric.
Laruto, the lone Zora in the game, appears and asks you to find someone who can play her instrument and open the Earth Temple.

NEW NINTENDO GALLERY FIGURINES:
=Dungeon Room:
Poe- These ghostly creatures carry lanterns around, and can only be killed by shining light on them first to make them vulnerable.
Redead- The terrifying mummy creatures that populate the tombs.
=Forsaken Fortress Room:
Stalfos- The large skeleton monsters that carry giant clubs; three of them protect the Mirror Shield.
Jalhalla- The boss of the dungeon, a giant form of the normal Poe enemy.
To the dungeon: You can enter either the Earth Temple or the Wind Temple first, it does not matter. In this walkthrough I will take the Earth Temple first.
Sail to Dragon Roost Island, then make your way up to the second floor flight docks. Grapple across the cliff to the right, then head up to the little ramp where Medli is standing playing a lyre. Whip out the Wind Waker and play the
Earth God's Lyric in front of her. After the cutscene she will join you on the boat, and you can sail to Headstone Island. Enter the small cave, play the
Earth God's Lyric again, and Medli will open up the entrance.
Dungeon notes: Medli is your companion in this dungeon and will aid Link in her abilities. When Link carries her and jumps off a ledge, they will fly together like Link with the Deku Leaf. When Link plays the Command Melody, he can control Medli's movements directly; with this, he can make Medli reach places off-limits to Link. Remember to carry Medli from room to room or she'll get left behind. If she gets caught by a floor master, head back to the "jail" room with the purple mist and the large statue head. Control Medli and fly her out of the cage. Like all dungeons, you will face some new enemies. The purple ChuChu cannot be defeated with the sword: you must lure it to where there is sunlight, and when it turns into stone, smash it with the Skull
Hammer. The Stalfos is a large skeleton-like creature. Stun it with arrows or the Boomerang, slice it with your sword until it crumples into parts, then slice its head to damage it. Like the first two dungeons, the Earth Temple contains warp pots. The first pot is in the room with the map; the second is in the room with the compass, and you must shine light onto the sun symbols on the right-hand wall to uncover it; and the third pot is in the huge cylindrical room right outside the boss room. Both Medli, and Link when he gets the
Mirror Shield, can reflect light onto objects. Remember that you can only use the shield when your sword is drawn. The boss, Jalhalla, is simple to defeat.
Shine light from one of the light rays onto the boss to stun him, then pick him up and throw him at one of the spiked walls. Use your sword to kill all the little ghost-like creatures that appear; the Hurricane Sword Spin is excellent for accomplishing this.
To the map:
- Pick up Medli and float to the opposite ledge, then go through the door.
- Kill all the enemies, then walk up the stairs to a ledge. Jump with Medli to the high platform in front of you, then stand on the button. Play the Command Melody to take control of Medli, then have her fly to the other platform with a button. Have her stand on it to open the door, then walk her off the platform. Pick her up and carry her to the next room.
- Kill the enemies, then take control of Medli again. Walk her into the ray of light, then reflect the light off of her lyre into the outline of a chest to the north. This will make the chest appear; open it for the map, then go east to the next room.
To the compass:
- As Medli, stand in the right-hand ray of light and shine it straight forward into the purple mist. This should reveal a stake. Return to Link and keep Medli shining into the mist, then pound the stake with the Skull Hammer to unlock a door. Go through it to the next room.
- Go past the tombs, then climb up the ladder on the left. Pull the block back to reveal a ray of light. Command Medli to reflect the light onto the outline of the chest to make it appear, and open it for a key.
- Go back to the previous room, then north through the locked door.
- There is red tapestry on one of the walls with beams of light leaking out; shoot it with a Fire Arrow to make a ray of light appear. Lure the purple ChuChus into it and turn them into stone, then set them on both of the floor switches to lower a set of stairs. Carry Medli up the stairs, push the large crate off the ledge to open the door, and go through.
- Push the first crate left into the divet to reveal a ray of light from the ceiling. Command Medli to reflect the light on the sun symbols on the north wall to reveal another crate, and reflect the light on the statue on top of the third crate to make it disappear. Pull and push the second crate towards the ledge, then push the third crate into the divet to make a chest appear containing the compass. Get it and go through the next door.
To the secret item:
- Kill the moblins (let the poes possess you so they disappear) to make steps appear. Have Medli fly up the ledge on the west side and reflect the light onto the statues on the other side of the room. Get the Joy Pendant from the chest, then go up the steps and go through the unlocked door.
- Kill the redeads inside the tombs, get the key in the right-hand tomb, then go back to the previous room and through the locked door.
- Defeat the Stalfos, and open the chest to get the Mirror Shield.
To the boss:
- Use the Mirror Shield to reflect light onto the sun symbol, then return to the previous room. Command Medli to fly up on the west ledge again and reflect the ray's light onto the ground. Now reflect Medli's light with the Mirror Shield onto the sun symbol on the west wall to make the wall dissolve. Go through the hallway to get back to the purple mist room.
- In this room, go through the south door to a previous room. In the southwest corner, set Medli on the switch and go through the door. Shine light onto the sun symbols with the Mirror Shield to make a chest appear with a Joy Pendant inside, then go back to the purple mist room.
- Command Medli to reflect light from one of the beams of light into one of the statue's eyes, then reflect light from the other beam with your Mirror Shield into the statue's other eye. Go through the passage that opens up.
- (OPTIONAL) In the room with the bridge, you can get another Tingle Statue with the Tuner. Fly over to the suspended platforms on the east side of the room, and use the Tuner to find a question mark box in this path. Bomb it and open the appearing chest for the fourth Tingle Statue. Travel across the bridge until you reach the door - turn around to find a hanging platform. Use the Deku Leaf to reach platform and jump across to the next one. Throw a bomb onto the ledge to spawn a chest

- Cross the bridge and play the Earth God's Lyric with Medli in front of the tablet to dissolve it, and go through the next door.
- Reflect light off of the giant mirror to your left so that it destroys the statue blocking the left-hand door, and go through it.
- Run through the mist to the other side, and pound the stake on the ledge to open up a ray of light. Push the giant mirror into the light ray to make it reflect through the barred wall, then return to the previous room.
- Use the Mirror Shield to reflect light onto the statue blocking the door to your right, and go through it.
- Run through the mist to get to the chest on the other side, which contains a key. Now kill all the floor masters with arrows, and open the chest that appears for Treasure Chart #20. Return to the previous room.
- Destroy the statue on the small crate with the ray of light, push the crate onto the ledge, then go through the locked door.
- Command Medli to reflect the light from the giant mirror at a right angle, then use your Mirror Shield to reflect Medli's light onto the giant statue at the west end of the room. Go through the door that opens up.
- Head past the coffins, right at the fork, and play the Earth God's Lyric to reveal a door. Go through to the next room.
- Walk down to the very bottom of this large room and go through the door here.
- Command Medli to fly on top of the central structure and step on the button to make a ray of light appear. Push the first large mirror into the light ray to make it reflect another ray. Stand on the pedestal the new ray is shining through, and reflect the light with the Mirror Shield onto the large statue to your left. Pull the new large mirror along its path to the end. Now command Medli to stand on the pedestal and reflect the light southeast onto the platform with the gold symbol, and reflect Medli's ray onto the sun symbols on the nearby wall to reveal another giant mirror. Push that mirror to the end of its path. Go to the southwest corner of the room and push this giant mirror into the divet. Stand on the pedestal in the new mirror's ray and reflect light onto the outline of the treasure chest. It contains a Joy Pendant. Stand on the pedestal again, face east, and reflect the light onto another giant statue to reveal yet another giant mirror. Pull it to the end of its path. Command Medli again and have her stand on the same pedestal, facing east down onto a platform with a gold symbol. Reflect off of Medli's ray onto the sun symbols on the west wall to reveal a final giant mirror. Pull it to the end of its path. Stand on the same pedestal as before, now, and shine light facing southwest onto a lone sun symbol, revealing a hallway leading to a door. Go through it and shine light on the tombs to open them. Kill the enemies and open the chest that appears for Treasure Chart #12. Back in the previous room, all the mirrors should be in place, so have both Link and Medli stand on the pedestals nearest the giant statue head and reflect light into both of its eyes. Enter the path that opens up, and go through the door.
- Kill the enemies (the purple Bubbles are only vulnerable to the Deku Leaf). Open up the gold chest to get the Big Key.
- Return to the giant cylindrical room and make your way to the top. Fly over to the ledge on the west side, and use the Big Key to open the door and get to the boss.

5. Wind Temple [0110]
Get Hookshot
Get 4 Joy Pendants
Get Treasure Chart #5
Get Treasure Chart #35
Defeat Molgera
Get Master Sword Power and Heart Container
NEW NINTENDO GALLERY FIGURINES:
Forsaken Fortress Room:
Miniboss Wizzrobe (MISSABLE)- A more powerful version of the normal Wizzrobe, it guards the Hookshot. This is your only chance to get a photo of it!
Molgera- The snake-like boss of the dungeon.
To the dungeon: After learning the Wind God's Aria from Gale Isle, sail directly to Forest Haven, but don't go into the main Deku Tree area. Stop at where there are two waterfalls before the entrance. Grapple the branch above and swing into the right-hand waterfall to find a secret cave. Makar is playing his violin inside; play the Wind God's Aria in front of him, and he will follow you to the Wind Temple and open it for you.
Dungeon notes: Makar, like Medli, is a very useful companion throughout this dungeon. He can also fly easily by himself to get to hard-to-reach areas, and his other special ability is the power to plant trees on the small yellow dirt mounds; doing so either opens up secrets or gives Link hookshot targets. The hookshot is a classic Zelda item; in this game, whenever you see a palm tree,
Link can probably hookshot up to it. Unlike most dungeons, you've faced all the normal enemies in here before; you'll be using your arrows a lot, so be sure you have those upgrades. The first warp pot is in the room just past the entrance, the second warp pot is in the southern alcove of the main huge cylindrical room, and the third warp pot is right outside the boss door. Come prepared for a challenge when you face the boss, Molgera: he's the toughest enemy in the game. When he has his mouth open and his tongue sticking out, hookshot it and slice it with your sword. Don't get too close, or you'll get chomped into bits. As it takes more damage, it sends more smaller sand monsters to distract you; hookshot them and slice them up in the same fashion.
To the map:
- Pick up Makar and carry him to the next room.
- Drop down to the lower level, then play the Command Melody to take control of Makar. Fly up to the top ledge at the end of the path past the whirlwinds and step on the switch. Return to Link, and step on the brown spring. Put on the Iron Boots to sink it, then take them off to make it launch you back up to the ledge. Use the other spring pad to launch Link up, then fly over to where Makar is, past where the whirlwinds were, and go through the next door.
- Blow the propellor with the Deku Leaf, and get past the spike trap. Command Makar and lay seeds at the two dirt mounds to open the door, and go through.
- (OPTIONAL) The final Tingle Statue is in this room! Drop down to the lower level, and use a Tingle Bomb at the question mark spot to reveal the chest. Simply drop down into the center of the room and place a bomb on the ground to spawn a chest
- Command Makar and have him fly up to the platforms and lay a seed at each of the three dirt mounds. This opens both doors, but Makar gets captured by floor masters. Go through the east door.
- Go straight across this next room and through the east door.
- Drop down to the lower level, blow the propellor with the Deku Leaf, then get to the other side of the opened gate. Blow the propellor again to close the gate, and step on the spring pad. Launch yourself into the little alcove to the north for a Joy Pendant. Jump to the east ledge, and go through the next door.
- Fly off the ledge with the Deku Leaf, into the cyclone and let it blow you upwards, and land on the small ledge to the left with a switch. Step on it to open up the gate, and go through it. Fly with the leaf through the next gate to the south, and open the chest on the ledge to get the map. Return through the last gate, then this time fly along the path leading west. Let the cyclones help you along until you reach the last ledge, and go through the door leading north.
To the secret item:
- Step on the switch pad with the Iron Boots to open up the floor. Drop all the way to the bottom, and go through the south door.
- Stand on one of the cracked tiles, put on the Iron Boots and drop to the lower level. Push the crate carrying the spring pad under the north side of the ceiling, then push the other crate next to it. Use it to launch up to the upper floor and open the chest for a key. Now break through each of the other four cracked tiles, killing the enemies and launching back up with the spring pad each time. This reveals a chest with Treasure Chart #35. Get it and return to the previous room.
- Go north through the locked door.
- Defeat the Miniboss Wizzrobe to get the Hookshot. Use the Hookshot on the target on the wall to get to a ledge, pound the stake with the Skull Hammer, then return to the previous room.
To the compass:
- Use the Hookshot on the targets to climb up the cylindrical room. When you see the grapple target overhead, fly over to the ledge on the west side, and open the chest for the compass. Use the targets and the spring pads to launch back up to the first floor, and get to the north alcove where Makar is. Put on the Iron Boots and Hookshot the target on the statue head to pull it down and free Makar, and open the chest for a Joy Pendant. Fly Makar over to the west door on the first floor, fly Link over there, and Makar through that door to a previous room.
To the boss:
- Hookshot the trees Makar planted to get to the top ledge, fly Makar over to Link, and carry him through the north door.
- Fly Makar over to each of the ledges, planting trees and gradually taking out the enemies. Go through the door at the top.
- Set Makar on one switch and stand on the other to open a couple of gates. Get over to the east ledge on the first floor with the Armos Knights with Link and Makar, and go through that door.
- Get through this room the same way as before, and get Makar to the east side of the room in front of the huge stone tablet. Play the Wind God's Aria to reveal a door, and go through.
- Defeat the enemies to open a gate revealing the chest containing the Big Key. Return back to the giant cylindrical room after getting it.
- Drop down to the bottom floor and have Makar plant seeds on the two dirt mounds here, creating the giant cyclone. Use the cyclone to be launched up to the second floor, and land on the ledge on the east side. The chest here contains a Joy Pendant. Fly to the south ledge on the top floor and go through the door there.
- Kill the enemies to reveal a chest containing a key, then go back to the previous room.
- Drop all the way down below the spinning fan with Makar, and go through the locked door here.
- Kill all the enemies including the ones hiding behind statue heads to get Treasure Chart #5. Hookshot up the platforms to a switch pad at the top of the room, and stand on it with the Iron Boots to unlock the doors. Carry Makar through the east door.
- Fly Makar over the giant cyclones to the ledge just past them, and plant a seed there to make them disappear. Hookshot to the tree and take Makar through the next door.
- There are three spike traps here and three crates. Put on the Iron Boots to not be affected by the cyclones, then push the middle crate forward so that it traps the first two spike traps on one side of it. Now push one of the other crates forward, past the two traps, into the pit. Push the third crate over that crate past the pit, and have it block the last spike trap. With all the traps blocked, pick up Makar and carry him past the pit and through the doorway. Play the Wind God's Aria with Makar at the huge stone tablet to reveal the final door. Use the Big Key on it to get to the boss.

Follow the linear path down into a hole, then go through the crawlspace farther from the ladder. When the path forks, take a right, then go straight. Once you're out, climb up the ladder and pound both stakes with the Skull Hammer. Go through the opened doorway on the left, and jump down the hole there. Enter the crawlspace directly across from the ladder, and follow it to the end.
Climb up the next ladder, and go down the hallway to another hole. Pound the stake next to it, then drop down the hole. Kill the redeads and enter the only crawlspace, and follow it to the end. Climb the ladder, play the Wind's
Requiem on the blue symbol, and open the chest for the next Triforce Chart.
Pound the last stake to open the gate, and follow the hallway to find the exit.
- Get Triforce Chart #3 (Bird's Peak Rock)
On this island, shoot down the Kargaroks with arrows, then use a Hyoi Pear to take control of a seagull. Hit all six of the crystals on the peaks of the rocks to make a gate open up on the smaller island. Enter it, play the Wind's
Requiem on the blue symbol, and open the chest for a Triforce Chart.
- Get Ghost Ship Chart (Diamond Steppe Island)
Sail now to Diamond Steppe Island, and hookshot up the palm trees to the highest ledge. Fall down the hole here into a secret cave. Enter the first warp pot ahead, then go forward and around the wooden wall. Bomb the boards covering the warp pot, and enter it. Get the Joy Pendant from the nearby chest, then drop down past the break in the ship's railing in the corner.
Bomb the boards on the warp pot directly under the railing break, and use it.
Now head for the warp pot in the northeast corner on this ship, and use that one. Get the Ghost Ship Chart from the chest on this ship. This will give you the locations of the Ghost Ship under each phase of the moon.
- Get Triforce Shard #4 (Ghost Ship)
Use the Ghost Ship Chart to find the location of the cursed ship. Look for the swirling blue mist around it, and sail straight into it to enter. Defeat all the enemies inside to make a ladder fall down, which leads to a chest containing the next Triforce Chart.
- Get Triforce Chart #5 (Needle Rock Isle)
Look for a trio of pirate ships northwest of Needle Rock Isle, and shoot down the golden ship. Fish up the treasure it leaves behind to get this Triforce
Chart.
- Get Triforce Shard #6 (Outset Island)
- Get Hero's Charm (Outset Island)
Get some of your grandma's Elixer soup, and any other potions and fairies you can collect, before attempting this part. Head up the ledges past Link's house, on the far west side of the island. Look up and hookshot to the palm tree on the ledge high above, then lift up the giant stone head nearby with the Power Bracelets. Drop in the hole to begin the 50-floor cave challenge.
For each floor, defeat all the enemies to make another hole appear. After every ten holes, a light ray will appear which can teleport you back outside.
The Triforce Chart is found deep on floor 30, and the heart piece is found on the last floor. On floor 30, shine light onto the large statue with the

The energy barriers will disappear, and you can go outside to another area of the castle. Approach the energy wall and break it with your powered Master Sword, and head up along the path. When you reach the broken bridge, use the hookshot to get across, and enter the cave to step into the final dungeon.

Puppet Ganon (MISSABLE)- When you confront this monstronsity, you must get a photo of it before you kill it, or you won't ever get its figurine. Save and quit after taking its photo to give yourself multiple chances.
=Great Sea Room:
Link and the King of Red Lions- This is your grand prize for collecting every single figurine, besides becoming owner of the Nintendo Gallery!
Dungeon notes: This is the final obstacle Ganondorf has placed before your path before you can face him! You must now use all of your abilities to break the four barriers blocking the large door ahead. There are four mini-dungeons here, each one containing a few puzzles similar to those you found in the
Dragon Roost Cavern, Forest Haven, Earth, and Wind Dungeons, as well as black-and-white versions of their respective bosses. In the next sector after defeating those areas, you will be allowed to return to the surface in one of the rooms for last-minute quests. The main boss, Puppet Ganon, takes on three forms. For the first form, hit the strings above it with the Boomerang, and concentrate on the string supporting its tail. When its tail is limp, shoot it with a Light Arrow. After a few shots, it will evolve into its second form.
As it hangs from the ceiling, watch its reflection in the water. When it stops spinning, run over to the side its tail is on, then when it drops, shoot its tail with Light Arrows. For the third form, you will just have to be good at aiming with the bow as it zooms back and forth, faster and faster. Hitting its tail three times destroys Puppet Ganon for good, though it is not the final boss! Kill the Keese and Morths that appear to get refills on magic and ammo.
Dragon Roost Cavern Barrier:
- The door to this area is across the bridge to the southwest of the central platform.
- Simply use the overhanging bars as grappling targets: grapple the first target and land on the floating platform, grapple the second target and land on the next platform, then grapple the third target, pull yourself up, and float over to the ledge. Go through the door here.
- This is the boss, Gohma, just as you faced him before. Grapple Valoo's tail three times to crack his shell, then grapple its eye and slice it up his head with your sword. You will be teleported back to the central room when you defeat him.
Forbidden Woods Barrier:
- Enter this area by walking across the bridge northwest of the central platform.
- Use the Deku Leaf to blow a gust of wind at the propellor to the left and bring the platform over, then blow wind at it again to be moved a short way. Jump onto the squirming platform, then blow wind at the propellor to the northwest of you. Fly onto the new platform that appears. Blow a gust at the first propellor to be moved further north, then fly towards another squirming platform. Jump to the next platform, wait for it to rise, then fly over to the ledge with the door. Go through.
- Defeat the Kalle Demos the same way as you did before- chop down the tentacles on the ceiling with the Boomerang, and slice up the center with the sword.
Earth Temple Barrier:
- Walk across the bridge to the northeast of the central platform and go through the door to enter this area.
- Run past the first set of coffins, up the stairs, then run through the second set to reveal a few purple ChuChus. Backtrack to the stairs and reflect light from the sun beam onto a purple ChuChu, and place it onto the nearby switch. Quickly run up the second hallway again and up the next set of stairs. Run down the third set of coffins and kill the Stalfo at the end, then make another purple ChuChu stone with the nearby ray of light. Place it on the switch at the second set of stairs, then run up the last set of stairs and go through the door.
- Defeat Jalhalla again by reflecting light into his body, throwing him into the spiked walls, and chopping up all the little ghosts that come out.
Wind Temple Barrier:
- The final barrier lies southeast of the central platform.
- Launch over the set of spikes with the spring pad using the Iron Boots and Deku Leaf, as before. Use the next spring pad and carefully fly in-between and past the two cyclones. Hookshot up to the ledge, and go through the door.
- Molgera is as tough as ever to beat- use the same tactics as before, Hookshot and slash, on the main monster and all the little creatures.
The Final Area:
- With all four barriers gone, go through the opened door in the central room.
- Go up the long set of stairs, and through the next door.
- Go through the door on your right.
- Remember what order Link focuses on each candlestick, then go back to the previous room and go through the door on the opposite side.
- Hit the four crystals in the order that you saw the candlesticks with the Boomerang, and your boat king will appear. If you wish to return to the surface at any time for any reason (such as to create your last figurines), he can take you back. When you are ready, go back to the room with the four candlesticks and jump into the pit.
- Attack the Phantom Ganon by deflecting the purple beams with a spin attack. When it clones itself around you, spin attack to dissolve the fakes, then attack the real Phantom Ganon. After you hurt it, it disappears. Enter the door that the hilt of its sword points to. Do this for several rooms, until a chest appears in one of the rooms. Open it to get the Light Arrows!
- Go through the unlocked door to be returned to the first room of this area. Kill the Phantom Ganon for good by shooting it with a Light Arrow, then use the sword it drops on the large door portraying the face of Ganon.
- Make your way up the steps, killing all the enemies as you go. When they're all dead, the door will open leading the way to Puppet Ganon!

- Defeat Ganondorf
After destroying Puppet Ganon, climb up the hanging rope onto the chandelier.
Continue climbing upwards, grappling the overhanging beams, and at the top, you will see a warp pot. Hookshot up to the balcony to face Ganondorf himself in the final battle! After the cutscene you will engage in a swordfight with the King of Evil, with Zelda closeby. Ganondorf is very agile and acrobatic; you will have to match his agility. When Zelda stuns him with a Light Arrow, quickly move in to slash him. You will also have to press A when a short opening for a countermove opens up. Soon, Ganondorf will knock Zelda away and stop becoming vulnerable to any of your attacks or Zelda's arrows. At this point, aim at Ganondorf with your shield, and position yourself so Zelda can shoot at you and bounce the arrow into him. This will stun him enough for you to make your final sword attack.
