This week on Monday, was the last day of break. I feel confident in saying that everyone was “out of it” on Tuesday. Feeling down and upset is inevitable after such a long break. Is there any way to get over it? Yes there is.
You have to accept that your vacation is over. Start looking forward to your next break, like spring break for example. Having something to look forward to is definitely a great motivator.

Winter Break Research Paper

...It was winter break of the 2012 school year. I was just the typical 11 year old in 6th grade playing sports and going to school, but it wasn’t the typical winter break. My family and I enjoyed our usual Christmas celebrations, but in a few days, I was going to be having a major eye surgery, the second attempt to correct my wandering right eye. I had to complete all of my homework before surgery because afterwards the doctor explained my eye would be swollen and painful, making it difficult to see. I didn’t feel like doing my homework, but knew I had to get it done. I read the boring Ancient History textbook and took notes, as well as completing my favorite subject, math homework. Before I knew it, it was surgery day! Time to wake up! I couldn’t...

15 Cv Tips: Make Recruiters Pounce on You Like Dogs on Bones

... Learn to speak english, write english. Learn how English eat, blow their noses and clean their bottoms. But to remain cultured, stick to the Indian culture. It is better, politer and more suave (Poets tend to be chauvinists). However just to pin- prick your pride here is Wikipedia's article on 'Hin'glish. Don't make the silly mistakes pointed here. BTW as I said, poets are chauvinistic; if you prick my pride with a pin. Ouch! It swells! 2.) Intern in every possible break. Intern after college hours, if possible. There are also online internships possible. The online internships offered by the National Judicial Academy, Bhopal and the Volintern program of Nishith Desai Associates are doable. 3.) Research. But still, try doing a SPRING course. Soon from a chicken you will turn into a hen. An egg laying hen actually. If you do not change, you still will be a productive chick. There are many ingredients in puppy chow that cause it to be sought after by many. It could be the chocolate, the peanut butter, the cereal, or the powdered sugar. Or any combination of those. For whatever reason it may be, puppy chow continues to be a big favorite among all. Ok many recipes that I have found call for exact measurement of everything even the cereal. I am a person of simplicity and convenience. So I tweaked my recipe a little bit. I use one whole large size box of corn chex cereal. I feel the corn cereal is better than the rice for puppy chow because it doesn’t break and crumble as easily. After pouring the whole box of cereal into double bagged plastic sacks I then start the melting process. The melting process is when I combine a whole bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips with peanut butter and butter. For measuring the peanut butter and butter I just use a regular cooking spoon. You need two spoonfuls of both in a stovetop pan or microwavable bowl. See I said easy. Now either way you melt the delectable mixture it only takes a few minute because you don’t...

Year in School

...have come up with many different options, and by the end of this paper you can decided which would best suit you. Through research we have found that since back in the 1800’s they have handled schooling in many different ways. Back then schools lacked a long summer vacation we are used to today. Their schooling was handled by them going to school from December to March, have a break, and then return mid-May to August. Other schools in this era had children from working families attend an eleven month school year, it served as a safe and inexpensive place for them to be. Since the 1900’s school districts around the country have offered a longer school year, involving shorter spread out vacations. As opposed to our system now, schooling around the world differs from ours here in America. They are not used to a short school year followed by a long vacation. Instead, children in countries such as Europe, Asia, and South America go to school more days per year, as well as more hours per day. On one side of the debate there is the families and communities that would like year-round schooling. Communities believe that it would save on costs for buildings that go unused during the summer vacations, they believe since fewer students would be attending at any one time they would save money on textbooks and equipment, and since they believe there will be fewer students it would also affect the amount of teachers. Some research...

...Developing Negotiation Skills in the Classroom: A Case Simulation Maureen Hannay Troy University ABSTRACT Effective negotiation skills are required in all positions and at all levels of modern organizations. Employees in the human resources department utilize these skills on a daily basis when they deal with such items as new hire packages, salary increases, performance issues, labor contracts, and terminations. Research indicates that by using practical, real-life simulated negotiation scenarios, learners can develop more effective negotiating skills. This paper introduces a case where students can be assigned to a management team or a union team to negotiate a mock collective bargaining agreement. Guidance is provided on how to apply the case in the classroom and facilitate the discussion at the conclusion of the exercise. INTRODUCTION Employees in every organization utilize negotiating skills on a daily basis. From negotiating deadlines and workloads to prices of supplies and contracts with unions, negotiations range from the small and mundane to the large and exceptional. A company with effective negotiating capabilities can gain a competitive advantage, reduce costs, increase profits and improve relationships (Masters, Albright & Irr, 2003). When identifying the ten managerial roles that leaders perform to accomplish organizational objectives, Mintzberg (1973) classified the role of “Negotiator” as one of the essential decisional roles that must be executed by managers...
