NCO-ER EVALUATION REPORT

PREPARATION GUIDE

1. PURPOSE: To provide a simplified, easy-to-read, guide to preparing Noncommissioned Officer Evaluation Reports (NCO-ERs). The intent of this guide is not to replace the governing Regulation, AR 623-205. Rather, this guide will serve as a useful 'teaching' tool for young NCOs and officers. Users should still become familiar and comply with the provisions of AR 623-205.

2. APPLICABILITY: This guide applies to all Army NCOs, officers, and civilian personnel, as well as members of other services, who rate and senior rate Army NCOs.

3. SUGGEST IMPROVEMENTS: This is a one-time only publication and will be distributed electronically. Users may change it to meet the needs of their own installations/units and publish locally if desired. Hardcopies will not be distributed by PERSCOM.

...Work is a great place for guest service but for some reason we have been failing at our secret shops. So the first question is: What happen to guest service? I think it is because of how lazy people are getting. I know sometimes we are really busy and we can only point them in to the direction of where that products at but when where not busy and all you are doing is stocking or cleaning you should walk the guest to where they need to be or if you don’t know to that department and then get another team member that could help. For example on 8/26 I was helping a guest with chair feet. Me thinking they were in cab apps but by asking Gail. She then pointed me to hardware. She didn’t know the exact aisle so I called Mike and had him take me and the guest to the chair feet. I think this is a good representation of good guest service but not the best since I had to go to two people but I still found the product the guest was looking for. The guest left happy with the merchandise. Guest service means to me the ability to help the guest for what they need. To get them everything they need for their project o they don’t have to come back. Why I come to work. For one I enjoy it. The seconded is that it brings a smile to my face to get to help guest pick out there vanities, there shower/tub, or there hot water tank because sometimes there not sure which one so you have to ask them question to qualify which one they need.
