We use one to one communication in health and social care when the care worker is working with a patient discussing interpersonal information. For example of one to one communication could be a doctor talking to a patient’s family and a doctor breaking sensitive news to a patient. Effective communication is important in Health and Social Care setting because it allows the health care worker to perform their roles effectively, allowing them to work along with their colleagues and their patients, who come from different cultures/and religion. The benefits of having groups communication in health and social is that everyone will have to a chance to share they thoughts and feels comfortable around each other, get to know everyone, learning to trust each other also having a team leader. Interpersonal interaction is an exchange of communication between two people who are present. For example professional worker communicating with the patient that’s an interpersonal conversation, it could be done by many ways, verbal communication, facial expression, body language, and also different type i.e. the tone of your voice, pace and touching and speech. Formal communication is the way we speak in a professional way for example it can be non-verbal communication when writing a letter you need to start with ‘ dear sir/madam’, when you’re speaking to your speaking to your boss at work you might have correct pronunciation. Informal communication is the opposite of formal but in this one is less strictly for example when you greet your friends or relatives you will give them a kiss or hug rather a formal handshake. You will be less carless with your words and language choice. Professional workers may use jargon when they are having a meeting or having a conversation with other professional worker. We don’t use slang in health and social care because you’re working in
