Process Philosophy According to the text process philosophy, “represents a process view of life that emphasizes becoming and progressive knowledge leading to a perfect, society” (Ferdon, 2014). The main presuppositions are relativism, environmentalism, progressivism, and develop mentalism; nothing is fixed, material constituency is determinative, presupposed progress, and genetic method. There are different facets of process philosophy that has impacted American government and society.
Processing reasoning is portrayed by an endeavor to accommodate the assorted instincts found in human experience, (for example, religious, experimental, and tasteful) into an intelligible all-encompassing plan (Globus, 2009).
Education or Economics Compelled in picking between Marxian, libertarian, and Keynesian speculations, process logic favors Keynesian hypothesis due to two main reasons. First, it considers genuine recorded experience more important than the others and has, appropriately, demonstrated more powerful in managing human issues (Whittemore, 1974). Secondly,” its presumptions about the way of individuals and society are more concordant with the procedural view than being the amazing independence of libertarianism and the inability to consider people and their individual flexibility important in Marxism” (Nindoesther, 2015).
Over time the answer stays "nothing of what was just mentioned." The goal of society, and the financial request so critical of any general public, should be the economic prosperity of its parts. “This is inseparably bound up with the maintainable prosperity of its indigenous habitat and the other living animals that possess it. They go for development is inconsistent with this objective” (Nindoesther, 2015).
Family and Marriage Conservatism is about saving the values that were secured over the past hundreds of years. It also prompted a methodical society. Moderates trust in liberated intelligence; they have faith in the capacity of man to construct a general public that regards rights and that has the ability to repulse the strengths of insidiousness. “Request means an efficient and amicable game plan, both inside one's own particular character and inside the district. It implies the execution of specific obligations and the happiness regarding certain rights inside a group” (Nindoesther, 2015).
The request is maybe all the more effortlessly seen by taking a gander at its inverse: issue. A confused presence is a confounded and hopeless presence. If there is an event where the general public falls into general issue, huge numbers of its parts will no longer exist. “What's more, if the parts of a general public are confused with soul, the outward request of society cannot long continue. Confusion depicts well, everything that conservatism is most certainly not” (Nindoesther, 2015).
I believe it is necessary to state that process philosophy has a greater impact on the various facets of the human nature. When looking over these two examples it makes a person wonder if it influences the government operations as well as the norms that govern marriages or even possibly civil rights.

...Worldview Analysis Essay Jennifer Trammell GOVT 200-C04 Process Philosophy developed when Romanticism-Transcendentalism failed and left a vacuum that was left as the theological shift occurred. Society began to seek a new faith and vision to live by and after it concluded the basic problem must be that of God it produced the view of non-theism. This shifted the Absolute to Process Philosophy view of life. Out of this view came naturalism, materialism, historicism, socialism, and relativism. Process Philosophy and Socialism Although there were many major expressions that came out of the creation of Process Philosophy, Socialism, and the work of Marx and Lenin, sticks out the most in the mind of most Americans that think...

Govt200 Worldview Analysis Essay

...Worldview Analysis Essay The institution of family and marriage was at one point one of the strongest institutions between two people that existed in the world. However, due to process philosophy, we can now see that same institution is being attacked and transformed into something that God objects to. As Christians, the Bible is our way to better understand and worship God. If we explore the ESV version in Genesis 2, we see God made man and woman and said that they “shall become one flesh”. Karl Marx however, offered up a different approach. Marx was an Atheist and therefore did not believe in God or the word of God (Martin, 2006). Marx’s atheistic teachings created a succession of process philosophers that eventually brought us to our current situation. By not believing in or following God’s word or established institutions, in this case the family and marriage, humans begin to go against God and away from God. In today’s world, the news headlines are filled with results of process philosophy; homosexual “marriages” being legalized, divorce rates are sky high, domestic violence rates up above normal, etcetera. The biggest of the issues in my opinion that involves process philosophy is the national legalization of homosexual “marriages”. The phrase most frequently used is “gay marriage”. This wording however does not align within a biblical worldview because marriage is between a man and woman. “You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination” (Leviticus...

Worldview Analysis

...Worldview Analysis Essay Alton Dawson Liberty University Worldview Analysis Essay This essay will examine the world view analysis and prospective on race and racism. Race over the last century has evolved as a worldview, the body of prejudgments and of human differences and group behaviors that has distorted our way of thinking about the issues of race and race relations. Racism begins as myths or beliefs about diversity of human species and the abilities and behaviors of placing these people into homogenized categories. Race has always been a pervasive component of thoughts and experiences shared by Americans and the rest of the world. (Fredrickson, 2005). It has been intrinsic of how Americans and the rest of the world see and try to find explanations the overall functioning of the world, while the meaning or reality of racism has not been explained. The issue of race throughout the United States and the world has been used as placing a classification of social identity that has effected how we were influenced by others through interactions. Race can be determined as being a part of the so called “ natural order “ of things that we as humans think as mere variations ( physical ) often used as evidence of the human existence , that is justified in the mistreatment of the human family. Race and racism in the United States and the world is about inequality of worth and status. Racism is the ideas that are based on human inequality due to differences that becomes phenotypic...

Christian Wordview

...Worldview Essay This essay is for the purpose of formally stating my worldview as a Christian and demonstrating how I perceive reality when it pertains to certain issues. While this will not have changed much from my original worldview outline, it serves to expand on the issues and give intelligent analysis to my beliefs. As this semester draws to a close, and I re-evaluate my worldview outline, I a consistency between my beliefs and those presented in the course material. After analyzing the major questions, I have been able to find academic support for each belief that I hold. The first question we were asked was ‘Who is God, and what is he like?’ my initial answer was that God is the creator of heaven and earth, the supreme celestial being that oversees and influences everyday events. As to His characteristics, I believe that he is absolutely just while being full of grace. He is absolute power, under perfect control. He has intense emotions, but perfect reactions to them. That is who God is to me. The second question was about humans, what they were, and what happened when they died. A human is a being created in the image of God, with capabilities for reason, and an innate understanding of right and wrong. When a human dies, they go to one of two places. Those who have chosen to follow God will go to heaven. Those who don’t will go to hell. The third question was ‘what is the nature of the universe?’ When I hear that, I have to ask what they mean by nature. I have to...

Distinction Between Relativism And Objective Morality

...Introduction The phrase “it’s all relative” is rapidly becoming the mantra of many Americans’ worldview, and is no longer just a cultural idiom used to express a difference of opinion. Within a society enthralled by self-satisfaction—seeking to propagate political correctness, tolerance, and an increasing rejection of authority—the concept of subjective truth is preferable to the narrow framework of objective morality. Rather than seeking absolute truth, information that accurately corresponds with reality, many are content reducing the essence of truth to a matter of personal preference. Unfortunately, this dangerous and deceptive philosophy has crept into every facet of the human experience in America, and the spirit of relativism has even infiltrated the Christian Church, an institution founded upon the doctrine of absolute truth and objective morality. This essay will explore the fundamental principles of relativism/subjectivism, showing the philosophy to be logically inconsistent, while demonstrating its incompatibility with Christianity. A Definition of Terms Before conducting a systematic analysis of relativism, a distinction between...

What Is the ‘Georgian Worldview’ and How Has This Concept Influenced the Archaeology of Eighteenth-Century North America?

...What is the ‘Georgian worldview’ and how has this concept influenced the archaeology of eighteenth-century North America? The ‘Georgian worldview’ is a theory that uses a study of cultural development to determine the thoughts of the eighteenth-century North Americans. It was initiated by James Deetz in his first edition of In Small Things Forgotten (1977). The term encapsulates Deetz’s structuralism-based idea that the evident alteration within English material culture and landscape design was more than a change in style, but a universal change in human consciousness—from medieval to modern—and this extended across the Atlantic despite the colony’s increasing political distance from the homeland (Deetz, 1996: 62-63; 2003: 221). Deetz believed that shared artefact form reflected shared thought (2003: 220). The theory has enabled historical archaeologists to recognise a distinctive shift in many areas of material culture which subsequently encouraged a succession of scholars to further this idea by posing key questions: why did the worldview develop, where else was a Georgian worldview visible, how did it present itself in areas outside New England? In the quest for answers to these questions, archaeologists have developed the concept which accordingly shaped interpretations of the material discoveries of eighteenth-century North America. Deetz’s model for the cultural development of New England illustrates that following an interval (1660-1760) of limited English...

What Is -- and How to Write -- a Historiographical Essay

...What is -- and How to Write -- a Historiographical Essay (c) Muskingum College, Department of History, 2005 Defining Historiography: Historians do not always agree about how to interpret the events and people that they study; this leads to multiple explanations, which at times, are diametrically opposed to each other. As students progress into upper-level courses in the Department of History, they must move from the mastery of facts and analysis of primary sources encouraged by lower-level courses to a richer and deeper understanding of how history is written and the fact that events and ideas are open to interpretation. Within History 420 (Readings in History), students then move into another level of explanation, where they read intensively on a topic and provide their own historiographical explanations for a series of events/ideas. Therefore, historiography can be described as “the history of history.” What this means in practice is an exploration of a specific topic, and how historians have explained events or people over time, i.e. how their explanations have changed due to their own worldview and/or ideological bent, due to re-interpretation of previously-viewed sources, due to the availability of new sources, previously unexplored, and/or due to the application of different questions and/or methodologies to sources. Revision of prior interpretations of the past is an implicit and important element of historiography. It requires students to not only be able...

Organization Design

...Chapter 1: Why is shared information so important in a learning organization in comparison to an efficient performance organization? Discuss how an organization’s approach to sharing information may be related to other elements of organization design such as: structure, tasks, strategy, and culture. Shared information is important in a learning organization in comparison to an efficient performance organization because it promotes interaction, communication, and collaboration. Shared information allows for ideas, data, experience, and experiments to be discussed allowing the organization probability to change, expand, and become successful while utilizing different techniques and processes. “A learning organization follows the horizontal structure which disbands the vertical structure by flattening the distance between managers at the top of the organization and putting emphasis on self directed teams, which include members from several functional areas creating less boundaries” (Daft, 2010, p.31). In a learning organization there are different departments and the roles within the department can continually change. Information within a learning organization provides communication with staff as well as the population it is serving. A learning organization promotes change, improvement, involvement, and awareness. Chapter 1: What are some differences that one might anticipate among the expectations of stakeholder for...
