There is so much nutrition misinformation in our society because news reporters are too quick to make information public. They all want to be the first to get out the new information, and they need it to be interesting and different so people will want to read their articles. “Demand for newness leads writers and publishers to focus on narratives that upend conventional wisdom” (Hamblin).
