Write about your ideal destination.

The scorching sun blazing on the white sand felt like a heated duvet over my sun kissed body. The sound of the endless blue waves crashing on the stone filled beach shoreline was a musical symphony to my ears. An endless array of vibrant, jungle thick rainforests throw a soft shade on the isolated beach. This is my ideal destination.

The salty, splashing of the dazzling blue waves would be an irresistible, unbreakable spell that would lead me to discover the great wonders the ocean had to offer. I would swim for hours never getting tired and never getting bored of the allure the ocean provides. The feel of my body cutting through the water in time to the perfect symmetrical lines to the rolling of the waves, was a liberating feeling of escaping all the mortal worries and fears.

The beauty and wildness of the rain forest would enchant me to explore the challenge and magic it presented all day long. It would be a limitless wonder of nature that would captive my mind, body and soul. The colour of the rainforest will attract all of my senses like a magnet, a temptation that would be impossible to ignore. I can already smell the beauty of the earthy soil, the richness of the leaves and the rain that seemed to create a gateway to a heaven, which was fully magical in its magic and splendour. The twittering of the birds would add to the feeling of paradise that the rain forest seemed to emit.

...------------------------------------------------- Business English From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Business English is English language especially related to international trade. It is a part of English for Specific Purposesand can be considered a specialism within English language learning and teaching; for example, the teachers' organisationIATEFL has a special interest group called BESIG. Many non-native English speakers study the subject with the goal of doing business with English-speaking countries, or with companies located outside the Anglosphere but which nonetheless use English as a shared language or lingua franca. Much of the English communication that takes place within business circles all over the world occurs between non-native speakers. In cases such as these, the object of the exercise is efficient and effective communication. The strict rules of grammar are in such cases sometimes ignored, when, for example, a stressed negotiator's only goal is to reach an agreement as quickly as possible. (See linguist Braj Kachru's theory of the "expanding circle".) Business English means different things to different people. For some, it focuses on vocabulary and topics used in the worlds of business, trade, finance, and international relations. For others it refers to the communication skills used in the workplace, and focuses on the language and skills needed for typical business communication such as presentations, negotiations, meetings, small talk, socializing, correspondence...

The American Dream In The Great Gatsby

...perspectives of the American Dream within each character that he wrote; and they all have their own idea of making money. Each character’s personality either provided an explanation or presented a positive or negative detail of the American Dream in the 1920s. Fitzgerald portrayed a corrupted dream; one that is focused on wealth and materialism rather than on success and educational opportunity. Parties, similar to Gatsby’s became the norm to show off ones’ wealth. People’s opinions were far more important than what one thought of oneself. What could possibly be the meaning of your own dream if you do not have any independent thoughts of your own possessions? Nothing in Gatsby’s house had an ounce of importance if Daisy did not appeal to it. In fact, “he revalued everything in his house according to the measure of response it drew from her well-loved eyes” (Gatsby 112).  The author had imagined the American Dream to be about discovery, independence, and of course the pursuit of happiness. In the 1920s depicted novel however, new money and new social expectations caused corruption to this goal, and even more evidentially on the East Coast. Nick had been a mid-western at heart, and the adjustment have never sunk in, as he was fully aware of the difference in lifestyles. He lives a different type of American Dream, opposite of the East Coast shallow dream. He is constantly striving for something; to be a better man, to be trustworthy, and to be reliable. Nick once said, “I am one of the few...

Lpg Gas Detector Using Gsm Module

...CHAPTER 1 INTRODUCTION LPG consists of mixture of propane and butane which is highly flammable chemical. It is odourless gas due to which Ethanethiol is added as powerful odorant, so that leakage can be easily detected. We can detect the presence of dangerous LPG leakage in the cars, industrial sectors and residential premises using an Ideal Gas Sensor. We can easily integrate the LPG gas leakage detector unit into a unit that can sound an alarm or give a visual suggestion of the LPG concentration. The sensor used in this Project will have both admirable sensitivity and rapid response time. This sensor can also be used to sense other gases like iso-butane, propane, LNG and even cigarette smoke. The output of the sensor goes LOW as soon as the LPG sensor senses any gas leakage. This is detected by the microcontroller and the LED & buzzer are turned ON. After a delay of few milliseconds, the exhaust fan is also turned ON for throwing the gas out and a “GAS LEAKAGE” message is sent to a pre-defined mobile number using GSM Module. MQ-5 Semiconductor Sensor for Combustible Gas Sensitive material of MQ-5 gas sensor is SnO2, which with lower conductivity in clean air. When the target combustible gas exist, the sensors conductivity is Higher along with the gas concentration rising. We use simple electro-circuit, convert change of conductivity to correspond output signal of gas concentration. MQ-5 gas sensor has high sensitivity...

Intelligent Agents

...INTELLIGENT AGENTS In which we discuss what an intelligent agent does, how it is related to its environment, how it is evaluated, and how we might go about building one. 2.1 INTRODUCTION An agent is anything that can be viewed as perceiving its environment through sensors and acting upon that environment through effectors. A human agent has eyes, ears, and other organs for sensors, and hands, legs, mouth, and other body parts for effectors. A robotic agent substitutes cameras and infrared range finders for the sensors and various motors for the effectors. A software agent has encoded bit strings as its percepts and actions. A generic agent is diagrammed in Figure 2.1. Our aim in this book is to design agents that do a good job of acting on their environment. First, we will be a little more precise about what we mean by a good job. Then we will talk about different designs for successful agents—filling in the question mark in Figure 2.1. We discuss some of the general principles used in the design of agents throughout the book, chief among which is the principle that agents should know things. Finally, we show how to couple an agent to an environment and describe several kinds of environments. 2.2 HOW AGENTS SHOULD ACT RATIONAL AGENT A rational agent is one that does the right thing. Obviously, this is better than doing the wrong thing, but what does it mean? As a first approximation, we will say that the right action is the one that will cause the agent to be most successful...

The candles shimmer on every table and the importance of the evening wafts through the air like the aromas from the kitchen. This is your testimonial dinner, an opportunity for the people who know you best to speak about you as a person, your achievements and your contributions to those you love and to society in general. Just for a moment, reflect on what you would like them to say. This reflection my friends; is the perfect life you want for yourself. And how many of us are actually living our perfect life..? There are two competing schools of thought. One says go out there live your dream, be the best, play at your highest potential. And the other says that the purpose of life is to simply enjoy the journey, simply be happy, and live in the moment. When you think about these two schools, you realize that both are equally important, life is all about the balance. It’s important to reach for the mountain top, to keep your eye on the summit to realize your potential but at the same time it’s incredibly important to enjoy the climb up the mountain, to enjoy the journey, to live in the moment. An ActiveX control can be automatically downloaded and executed by a Web browser. ActiveX is not a programming language, but rather a set of rules for how applications should share information. Programmers can develop ActiveX controls in a variety of languages, including C, C++, Visual Basic, and Java. An ActiveX control is similar to a Java applet. Unlike Java applets, however, ActiveX controls have full access to the Windows operating system. This gives them much more power than Java applets, but with this power comes a certain risk that the applet may damage software or data on your machine. To control this risk, Microsoft developed a registration system so that browsers can identify and authenticate an ActiveX control before downloading it. Another difference between Java applets and ActiveX controls is that Java applets can be written to run on all platforms, whereas ActiveX controls are currently limited to Windows environments. 3- Briefly explain Firewalls A firewall is a software or hardware device that protects your computer from internet dangers, such as (among...

Why Is the Internet so Addicting

...People go online to get information (music, news, stock prices, etc). Logging onto the Internet is like a kid going to a toy store; there is so much to do and explore that once you get in, you never want to leave. People also go online because the Internet offers freedom to do whatever they want, to say whatever they want and to be whoever they want. This could have a negative effect since people will act in certain ways and say certain things that they otherwise wouldn't do in real life. Furthermore, because the Internet offers so much freedom, you can find your ideal self much easier, but it's not the same as your social self. The difference is due to you talking to a computer screen and you talking to a real person. Thus, the experiences we encounter on the Internet are not the same as the ones we encounter in real life. Even though our overt use of the Internet can cause a conflict between your virtual self and your social self, many still excessively rely on the Internet for their activities. As a result of information and freedom, the Internet has become an unbreakable addiction for individuals and society. Computers are as common as televisions in households; in addition, laptops and Internet-ready cell phones enable the Internet to travel with us. "By 2000 it was estimated that the number of adults using the Internet exceeded 100 million in the United States alone" (The Columbia Encyclopedia, Sixth Edition). We believe that the Internet experience is the same as real...

The ad’s message continues to state that if you have this shape, there is no need to worry because there is the Warner’s Body-Do. The Warners Body-Do is a girdle that “equalizes you”, as the advertisement puts it.
