MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES In accordance with Agency policy and procedures, the ideal candidate: Visits designated local market places and industrial areas to promote and retail credit to microentrepreneurs and small businesses to promote business development by financing working capital and investment opportunities. Visits workplace and households to retail consumer and housing loans to low-income households to finance household assets and home improvement; Assists in initial screening of prospective borrowers, including visiting the business, completing the loan applications, analyzing the loan request and recommending disbursement; Through individual marketing and promotion channels, ensures financing new and repeated loans to increase the size of the portfolio; Monitors an adequate healthy caseload of active borrowers; Follows-up on payments of performing portfolio to ensure adequate repayment rate; Follows-up on payments of bad portfolio to reduce its volume; Performs such other duties as may be assigned.

PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES Successful completion of a two-year post secondary course in accountancy, business, marketing or other related commercial discipline At least three years of experience in sales, marketing or banking. Good command of spoken and written Arabic and English Ability to work within a team Effective interpersonal, communication and marketing skills Customer focus with commercial judgment; Familiarity with the local market needs Problem solving abilities Ability to cope with change and pressure. It’s desirable to have a university degree in business administration, accountancy or economics.

Basic Salary: Monthly basic salary $751.70; plus a currency adjustment factor (present rate 15.54%) and monthly dependency allowance up to $123.25. Contract Duration: Three years including 1 year probation period. Leave: 30 days annual leave Pension: Provident Fund contribution Other conditions of service and benefits may apply.
