I show up at the Kalos league building, completely exhausted from the mission it was just to get here, you’d think they’d let the next Elite Four member fly over here, but nope, I guess it’s part of some kind of initiation or something. I enter and a man dressed as a security guard holding a tablet of some kind walks towards me "are you here to challenge the league?" He asks. I actually can't believe it, they didn't tell him.

"No, I'm Xander Evergreen" I politely tell him, he looks me up and down and then starts tapping away on his tablet. He looks up and nods his head, he then points me to the far back of the building. She then starts examining me up and down until she stops and her eyes sparkle “I don’t know how I didn’t notice it on your earring, a mega stone” Malva observes and her face becomes stone cold for some odd reason.

“Ya I managed to find them, it wasn’t easy though” I tell them. “Okay everyone come back, we’ll continue exploring later” I yell and they all rush back, I return them into their pokéballs which took me a while because I accidentally dropped them all when they tackled me. “Oh okay, does that happen often?” I asking trying to learn more but before I even finish my sentence both Siebold and Malva snort and start dying of laughter.

“Yes, it’ll happen maybe twice a year? She had to adjust her schedule just to make the competition for the next Elite Four member” Drasna answers and I nod in response.
