Yammer was called the enterprise version of Facebook, but has many features that Facebook does not possess. Yammer is a hybrid medium that combines traits from many communication technologies, ranging from SMS, IM, email, and traditional weblogs (Ingebricson 2010, p. 12). Yammer is a private social network that brings together people, conversations, content, and business data in a single location.
