Good practice also requires reminding the consumer to: • avoid all other medications including OTC (over the counter) and complementary drugs without checking with their prescriber first; • inform the prescriber of all current medications, medical conditions and allergies; • keep the drug away from children; • report to any other health care professionals that he or she is taking the drug; • inform the prescriber if breastfeeding or pregnant or chance of becoming pregnant while taking the medicine; • ask the pharmacist if a generic drug is available; • keep a record of medicines including reason for taking them; • ask the pharmacist for a dosette box or for medication to be packed into a Webster® pack if taking several medications; and • read the Consumer Medicine Information (CMI) brochures/leaflets...

If that’s what we are really writing about here, that would be rather boring. You would be reading autobiography after autobiography about how students learned to read and write in Kindergarten or pre-school. Clearly that is not what you are looking for. I have learned over years of writing classes, literacy is so much more than being able to read and write. Being literate also involves being able to write down every thought and feeling, in hopes to perhaps give the reader chills. They feel so into it like it is their own thought or their own feeling. Also, being a strong literate person, to me, is going into a horrible situation and coming out 10 times stronger and more motivated. Personally, I do not really have a list of individuals that made a big enough significance in my life to change it. Well, no one except my daughter. We describe many of the risks associated with any global supply chain in this industry. As illustration, we also list steps that Samsung Electronics and its subsidiary, Samsung Electronics UK, have taken to mitigate these risks. Our description of the risks and illustration of mitigation efforts provides the backdrop to identify areas of future research. INTRODUCTION In supply chain management, there is much discussion on risks related to such aspects of supply chains as short product lifecycles, keen competition combined with cooperation, and globalization. The consumer electronics industry is the very embodiment of these aspects of supply chain management and related risks. While some of the supply- and demand-related risks are similar to such industries as the toy industry (Johnson 2001), the consumer electronics industry faces additional risks due to its vertically integrated supply chains. This article seeks to provide a starting point for understanding supply chain risk in this industry through examples from this industry as well as related ones like computers and mobile phones.
