My Realage Before taking the “realage’ test I had never wondered if my body age and physical age had matched. Previously I figured that my bad eating habits and little to none energy had definitely put some years on my age. However, today after taking the “realage” test I found out that my realage is 18.2. After responding to all the many questions about family health history and stress I was sure that the stress would have added at least five years to my age but fact is I am younger. Getting the results of my test made me realize how important it is to try to live a healthy lifestyle. Although according to my test I am doing considerably well that number still could have been lower. While answering the questions they made me think what are some things I could change in order to keep my real age number down. One of my first and most important solutions to keeping my realage down is reducing my exposure to second hand smoke. Although I am not a smoker I often find myself surrounded by individuals who are. My grandmother, who was very hands on with me all of my childhood and adult life has been smoking around me since I was a child. Although I have never had any breathing conditions while growing up I feel like if I was not exposed to the cigarette smoke my realage number would be lower. Another solution is lowering my alcohol intake. Although according to the realage website my alcohol intake is not dangerous I feel that the less drinks the healthier my body can be. While searching the website I found that even if you drink little to none alcohol your body still has to work hard to rid itself of the toxins and this process can be hard on the liver. Along with alcohol I found that food can also be very damaging to some of our vital organs.
