In reading Nathaniel Hawthorne's story Young Goodman Brown I see this was a tale made to show the true nature of most individuals, to expose hypocrisy’s in this tale of witchcraft and the towns people living double lives It shows there true character. It was a suspense story from start to finish. He was man with a strong will and was true believe in all things good when he set out on his journey. His wife faith witch I think also represents his own faith asks him to stay with her and not be out on this one night. The first quote I chose I chose is ‘Say thy prayers, dear Faith, and go to bed at dusk, and no harm will come to thee’ this one will also tie in with my second. His whole view of how he saw things was
