Proctor plays a very important role through the whole play, and especially my scene. Proctor is in a way fearful in this courtroom. He is fearful that the judges won’t see what is right, and they will believe Abigail and all of her trickery and lies. He is very concerned through the whole scene, and sometimes is outraged.
