Shared Inquiry Discussions The leader of a shared inquiry make the interpretive questions, and regulate the flow. Leaders challenge false statements, and encourage a follow up from participants. Leaders also redirect focus to the shared inquiry discussion, and the text. Leaders must keep the conversation moving once a question has been resolved, to avoid an awkward silence from the participating parties. Interpretation is the main purpose of a shared inquiry, as inquiries will vary tremendously.
