To qualify for certification, one must meet the requirements of the state or jurisdiction where they wish to practice”(Accounting News & Research, 2009). In Oregon this includes a master’s degree (Becker Review, 2009). In order to fulfill my goal and become a CPA, I would need to complete an MBA program.
