新浪微博：涵张 weibo.com/rickyhanzhang 序言 序言（一） ——陈起永 “打入” 在我看来， 张涵是中国托福考生的宝贝， 因为他是稀有的甚至是迄今仅有的真正 美国 ETS 托福出题组内部的中国大陆人。凭借他出色的口语和美式思维方式，张涵成为参 与托福出题的中国人，这即使在美国所有的常春藤盟校（包括张涵的母校宾夕法尼亚大学） 及其他美国大学的中国留学生中也是前无古人的创举。 张涵对于中国托福考生的价值就在于，他了解出题者的思路，因为他就是口语考题的 出题者；他了解答题的思路，因为很多答案的得分点是他参与制定的；更为重要的是，他的 思路与其他出题者的思路是一致的。因此，张涵对参加托福考试考生的指导，是绝对权威的。 为了让更多的中国托福考生能够取得好成绩，我一直建议张涵出一本书来惠及更多的 中国学生。由于与 ETS 有保密约定，因此张涵不能透露任何他所出过的题目，但这本书， 却是张涵想到的两全其美方案的结晶：一方面，在这本书中张涵没有透露任何的自己有参 与出题的题目；另一方面，张涵用出题者的逻辑和思路为中国学生提供了新的视角。
