On Monday, September 29 I went to the Faculty Artist Concert Series on campus. This particular concert was titled “Faculty Showcase”, obviously that means throughout the concert, the faculty at the University of Indianapolis would showcase their particular strengths. The concert was in fact free and open to the public and everyone on campus. I earned L/P credit from attending which meant there were several other students there. The concerts on Monday nights usually only provide four, five or six

On December 30th I saw a performance of Spongebob the musical at the Palace Theatre in Times Square. This was a wonderful experience, and the production of the musical was absolutely wonderful. The book was well written with a complex plot and characters, and the music was written and performed very well. One small qualm I had was that because almost every song was written by a different artist, it felt very disjointed at times due to the fact that there were not many common motifs in the songs.

On September 18th at 7:30 PM, I drove all the way down to Toyota center located at 1510 Polk St, Houston, TX 77002. As I arrived I saw exited fans even more excited than I have ever been and in that moment I knew that this concert will probably be the best one I have ever been too. If I could explain this night I would say it was a very sweet night, sweet as in candy, but unfortunately it was also bitter like Black coffee and no I am not lying! Ariana Grande appeared on stage with her cat ears which

On Wednesday, December 2nd I attended to a very impressive concert presents by my great music professor Sergio Gonzalez and Hialeah Performing Arts Club. Dr. Sergio Gonzalez invited magnificent singers from his MUL 1010 class to make this concert unforgettable with his accompaniment in the piano. Every artist was

i had never been to a musical concert before Friday December 9th, the concert that I attended was interesting and worth seeing. There were both things that I viewed to be positive and negative about this concert. Each song had something different to offer from the feeling of each piece, what I like and disliked about the piece, and my/crowd’s reaction. March was one of the first pieces I heard. This piece was quite peaceful. There was a smooth melody throughout the work. Although the melody was

On the 28th of March, I decided to attend yet another trio concert at the breathtaking Dr. Bobbie Bailey & Family Performance Center. Arriving on time, I walked in and took my sit immediately as if I was a regular at this point. The daunting and new hall that I entered for the first concert has now become more of a comforting place filled with amazing musicians. Like the last concert at this hall, this concert was compromised of a trio. It was nice to see Charae Krueger (cello) and Robert Henry (piano)
