On Thursday November 30, I attended a jazz concert at Ball and Chain located in the famous 8 street in Miami. This was the first time I ever attended a Jazz concert in my life. I arrived at 6:30 p.m. and the band had already started playing, I was informed that whenever they play they start at 6:00 p.m. The atmosphere here was really pleasant, the place had a touch of dim lights which made you feel comfortable. The room wasn’t too crowded, this was another really good detail, because it gave me the

Classical Concert Report I attended a Pre-Festival Concert on March 8th,2016. It was located at Hanford High school inside the Presentation center. The center consisted of the main stage and two sections of seats. The bottom section was for the audience and the top section was reserved for the musicians. There were three different groups that played on stage, JFK Concert band, JFK Symphonic Band and Hanford High Concert band. The concert played classical pieces that were played very well by

The Christmas concert I went to was amazing. My parents went with me and we sat on the track going around the gym so that we could get a good view of everything. The concert started out with the choir singing Veni, Veni, Emmanuel. Darrell explained that it was actually a chant. It was interesting to hear and I loved that the soloists were able to be heard even with everyone else singing. It seemed to add more depth to the music. There were more songs that they played, some in different languages

The Band I chose to do my concert report on is none other than John Mayer. Ironically a few hours before attending this concert I had no idea who this performer was, I blindly trusted a good friend of mine, and bought tickets for both us. Having no idea what i was getting into, not to mention this would be the first concert i would ever attend, it ended up being one of the best decisions i have ever made. The concert was divided into 5 portions mainly focused on John Mayer's legendary guitar skills

On Wednesday, December 2nd I attended to a very impressive concert presents by my great music professor Sergio Gonzalez and Hialeah Performing Arts Club. Dr. Sergio Gonzalez invited magnificent singers from his MUL 1010 class to make this concert unforgettable with his accompaniment in the piano. The first thing that I liked about this concert was the atmosphere because I saw how the audience enjoyed the music played by my talent professor and the amazing voices of the vocalists. Every artist was

Last Tuesday I attended the Big Band Concert in the Marshall Arts Center. Both the Weber Music Hall and the Marshal Arts Center have very different atmospheres. Unlike the small band, the big band songs seemed to be a lot shorter and were instructed by a conductor. For the first couple songs, there were big basses, drums, a piano, a marimba, saxophones, an electric guitar, trumpets and trombones. The first song was upbeat and had very loud, accented parts. All the instruments played while the symbols

Concert Report Qiujie (Blair) Pan I went to see a wind band concert that was played by UTSA University band on Oct 1, 2017. The concert was extremely impressive. Even though it was my first time listening to the live wind band playing, I enjoyed it very much. The band played six songs in total. All the songs were composed in the 20th centuries. Among these songs, I really like the song named Ride by Samuel Hazo (1966). It is a fast song and I did have a feeling that the tempo of this song is taking

I went to the SJSU Music Concert Hall on November 11,2015, and it costs 5 dollars for the ticket. When I arrived there, I saw that most of the audiences are SJSU students, and a few of them are professors. The audiences dressed casually, and I dressed casually as well because I think that I was a casual listener at the concert. When I was listening to different pieces, I felt amazing because I never heard this kind of music before. I enjoyed the slow tempo because it gives me the feeling of relax

Crue Concert With the smell of sulfur in the air and the heavy metal in my head, I couldn’t believe what I had seen. Me and my friend Clayton were at the Xcel Energy Center in St.Paul for the Motley Crue concert of the 8th of August this past summer. We are huge fans of the band and we made a good effort in getting tickets and seeing our sort of “role models”. Since I am a huge fan of Motley Crue I follow them quite a bit on social media and things like that. I had heard through the media that

was extremely enjoyable, I only thought a couple of bands were great. The way that this concert works is they have one or two big band names to bring people to the show and use those bands as the reason to come and see all the other little bands. It promotes all the lesser known country artists. Some of the lesser know artists were pretty entertaining, but lacked in comparison to the real stars of the concert. Most of the music was very down to earth and very enjoyable. When a song is made for the
