A festive feel of excitement and delight challenged the dark, ominous sky. The night was losing its battle against the street lights and bright, shiny stalls of the Christmas market. People were humming along to the carols, all wrapped up warm and still enjoying the festivities. Rows of little stalls were lined up, each with customers waiting to be served.
