McCarthy’s “The Road,” are very particular. As a whole, the songs must include the right amount emotion, the feeling of hope, and a certain amount of suspense. There are many different events throughout the story and the songs tie well into almost all of them. Furthermore, the songs provide a great match from their start to finish and the variety of genres adds different feelings.
