I am setting a group of three SMART goals. These goals will impact my life positively in three different aspects of my life including but not limited to personal, professional and academic. The goals I set will have a specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time-based core in my life. My personal goal is to make healthier choices to lose weight and feel better in the new year. My professional goal is to become an effective leader while helping myself and others learn and grow through my new job position at work. Finally, I want to be on the Dean’s List each semester on college while maintaining a 3.5 grade point average or higher each class. Personal goal of weight loss has been a real struggle of mine for many years. …show more content…
To be more specific I want to portray a more positive outlook on complications that may arise while becoming a better listener and conveying myself in a more positive manner while improving my nonverbal ques so people don’t misread me and my message. To attain this goal, I must be able to accurately measure this goal and make it relevant to my personal work situation. I have recently been promoted to Lead Teacher in a preschool setting with low income children and families we serve. This is relevant to me because I not only once was a child/student of this program when I was in preschool but all 3 of my children were a part of this early education program. I was a parent that was supported and directed by the staff at this agency and I am where I am today because of the positive attitude and support of people who were in the position I am …show more content…
I tried to align my personal, professional and academic goals so it could help me achieve my bigger lifelong goals which include being an effective leader in my personal, professional and academic life. Maintaining accountability for myself in smaller increments so I can adjust things in my life that don’t seem to be working toward my bigger goals such achieving a Master’s or possibly a Doctorate Degree to continue my life helping others while serving the community, children and myself. Basically, self-efficiency or the confidence in my ability to carry out a specific task will be the root of whether I succeed or fail. If I don’t have confidence in my ability to succeed there is a slim chance I will achieve that

INTRODUCTION A business organisation can be defined as a commercial or industrial enterprise which involves a group of people that are managed and structured to meet a need or aiming towards actualising the business purpose. The main purpose of this assignment is to determine the essential documentations needed to carry out all employment related activities. This assignment will as well attempt to verify the impact of those aspects of non-financial resources, known as (physical, technological and human resources). In other words, it will clearly demonstrate the range of internal and external sources of finance related to the choice of London borough of Hackney Council as a reputable local authority. In conclusion, it will define the reality of the financial resources and the related importance in the daily running of the organisation. Historical background of Hackney Council The first real records of settlement in Hackney date back to Saxon times. Before this most of the borough was farmland, providing food for the Roman city of Londinium, whose defensive walls rose up just south of Shoreditch. Two major Roman roads ran through Hackney. What is now the A10 was once the Roman trunk road to Lincoln and onto York. A second major road ran along Old Street and then through Bethnal Green and eventually to Colchester. As one of five...
