According to the 2010 Dietary Guidelines my diet is very poor. The 2010 Dietary Guidelines recommendations relies on two overarching concepts (executive summary, 2011). One of the concepts is maintaining calorie balance over time to achieve and sustain a healthy weight. By doing this, it helps a person to achieve and maintain a healthy weight through continued attention to the calories they are consuming from the foods and beverages they are eating, and also being physically active. With my current diet, I’m taking in more calories that are recommended for my daily intake, and I’m also not burning them off from physical activity. I have reduced the amount of calories that I was taking in , by reducing sodas, ice cream, and fried foods at the
