Everyone has problems, but not everyone can adapt and fix them in a timely manner. Some people do. I do. When I started 7th grade, I realized the real difference between elementary (5th) and middle school. Some of my grades were around 89-those pins and needles stuck in your foot until you raised it to a 90 or above-and it was almost midterm week. Although I wouldn’t call it a big issue since it was the first semester, I figured why not and try to raise my grades to an A. I knew that no one was going to look back on how I did in 7th grade and use that to determine if I got admitted or not into a college, but I pretended it was 9th grade and the problem was real-more like a test-and I started my action. This is why I started putting in more effort overall-studying more, asking for help (really important), better habits, etc-and in the end, I pulled it off, getting closer to the final goal. …show more content…
Not everyone can keep the boat afloat after patching a hole. I can. So what if I did good and reached my goal in the first semester? Grades aren’t everything. As I am writing this in 8th grade I clearly see challenges in the future for me. If I am to really succeed, I need to be able to repeat success. This is what I realized for the second semester, the need to keep my grades in check. I did roughly the same process; though there were differences I needed to implement because of unforeseen obstacles. In the end, I also pulled it off, getting closer to a better way of handling
