Almost all studies done on sibling focus on either early childhood or adulthood; researchers know little about sibling relationships between the ages of 20 and 60. Psychological well being (Bhogle and Prakash, 1995), Gita Inventory (Das, 1987) questionnaires were administered on 100 subjects. An inventory to assess the levels of consciousness was developed. This inventory consists of 90 items representing the chakras / levels of consciousness such as ‘Mooladhara chakra’ / 1st level of consciousness; ‘Swadishthana chakra’ / 2nd level of consciousness; ‘Manipura chakra’ / 3rd level of consciousness; ‘Anahata chakra’/ 4th level of consciousness; ‘Vishudha chakra’ / 5th level of consciousness and ‘Ajna chakra’ / 6th level consciousness. The subjects were administered the above mentioned questionnaires along with the levels of consciousness inventory.
