Analyzing Bryson's Evidence Of Extinction

In the beginning Bryson writes about how trillions of atoms make us up. He underlines that there is no particular reason why, just how incomprehensible it is. He does this this in such a way, we somehow feel like he can understand how unlikely are existence is. This could be his argument, but it could also be when he tells the audience “You must be as fickle as an atom to survive”. In the second to last paragraph, he tells us why we must be prepared to change to survive.
He writes about how species die out around the fifth paragraph. We had to be the beneficiary of a species that outlasted all extinctions in order to exist today. He argues this by sharing a statistic about how long species usually last. Its factual, however he dressed this
