In my visit to the College of the Sequoias Art Gallery. "Discourse, Dilusion" when I saw the work, I wondered what was the message of Anna Kenar, but when I read her biography I found out she grew up in Poland. When she came to the United States, she was different from everyone else, she was 'the other'. After reading her biography I was able to understand she came from a different culture, and she was different. I like her work because it was a way to express her feelings on paper, and other people were able see where she came from. The four pieces of art were confusing, however when I looked closer it gave me more detail of the work, and then I was able to see her message by connecting the four pieces. The main art work that caught my eye was the "Discourse, Dilusion". This particular work had 4 different projects that connected at some point.
