Are we Alone? Throughout the recorded history of mankind, we as citizens of Earth have encountered many unexplained mysteries. Many of these anomalies will remain unsolved unless we as a society become open to the possibility of change, open our minds and our eyes. The answer to the question "Are we alone in the universe?" has been unanswered and may remain so until scientists are no longer heavily scrutinized for researching the topic. Mainstream science has and will continue to ridicule and humiliate any individual who expresses an interest in the topic of aliens or extra-terrestrials. However, as time and technology progress, there has been a vast amount of substantial evidence that continues to build in many scientific disciplines such as archaeology, astronomy, philosophy, anthropology and ancient history. The late Swiss author of multiple best-selling novels, Erich Von Daniken introduced a radical new theory that would cause an enormous paradigm shift. Von Daniken was educated in a strict Catholic boarding school. He and his classmates were made to complete translations of the Old Testament Bible from Greek to Latin, and then from Latin to German. Von Daniken discovered his fascination with extra-terrestrials once he began to study the book of Ezekiel and the story of his wheel. In 1968, Von Daniken wrote and published his first novel titled “Chariots of the Gods” and the birth of the Ancient Astronaut theory was born. Essentially, the Ancient Alien theory infers that aliens/extra-terrestrials visited the Earth in antiquity and were regarded as Gods. A valid question to contemplate, if we as mankind can travel to the moon and other planets, why couldn’t beings from other planets visit the Earth? Von Daniken has researched this topic on a detailed level for decades and has kept a well-organized itemized collection of evidence. Infamously, Von Daniken is known to have made comparisons to
Ancient Sumarian figurines and modern day astronauts. An in depth documentary of the Ancient Astronaut theory can be viewed on the History Channel. Von Daniken traveled to many locations to study ancient archaeological sites and his reports are remarkable, to say the least. He traveled to ancient ruins in Bolivia in a small village called Puma Puncu. This site is riddled with megalithic structures that weigh many tons, but this is not the most shocking feature about this site. The detail in stonecutting is much more advanced than scientist had initially thought prehistoric man was capable of. There were perfect cuts and drilled holes, huge boulders stacked neatly on top of each other. How is it that these ancients have moved and manipulated such enormous stones without modern equipment? Can human ingenuity not be credited for such an incredible final result? We as a society require actual tangible evidence in order to unequivocally state that a phenomenon exists. As time passes, there are more and more reports of actual physical contact, apparent alien abduction. Claims that people are being levitated up into a space craft, sometimes examined, spoken to telepathically and then returned to where they were taken from, and having no memory of any incident taking place. Could this be some sort of mass-hallucination? Or perhaps an elaborate hoax? If aliens were taking human beings and performing experiments on them, would there not be any physical evidence? Dr. Roger Leir and a team of surgeons have performed up to 16 surgeries on “would-be” alien abductees to date. Dr. Leir has given many interviews on the topic of abductions and his feedback is baffling. These surgical procedures are being performed to remove these “alien” objects that have been implanted into human beings. The team has studied them widely, including chemical composition and their findings are reported to the public openly. Dr. Leir himself has publicly stated that he does believe that the patients being operated on have truly been abducted and that the abduction phenomenon is reality. He also expresses that the implants themselves must have been manufactured by a far more advanced race than humankind. Could these mysterious objects truly be evidence that Earth has been visited by another species? Dr. Leir brought two samples of implants for further examination to one of the most advanced laboratories of its kind in the world, the Material Science Lab at the University of Toronto. At the University Dr. Leir was assisted by accredited Department Chair Dr. Doug Perovic. In a documented interview, Perovic confirmed that when studying the chemical composition of one of the removed implants, to their surprise, they uncovered an isotope that is not commonly found on our planet. This chemical element can however be found in outer space. Even more usual, these implants have no portal of entry and leave no scar behind. This entire procedure was documented in an interview with Dr. Leir and aired on the Discovery Channel. Dr. Leir sent other samples of the removed implants to Los Alamos National Labratories. He provided both scientific teams with what he refers to as a “blind” composition study. The results of these examinations are startling. The teams’ findings indicated that the samples are actually small shards of meteorite-like remnants and emit radio waves.

Taking a mathematical statistic point of view, astrobiologist Frank Drake has created an accepted equation that can estimate the odds of intelligent life in the universe. This equation is based on the number of technological civilizations in the Milky Way Galaxy (N) with whom we can make contact with. (L) is the longevity of a civilization. As of so far, we are only aware of one planet that is life-sustaining which is Earth.
SETI stands for the Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence. They currently have satellites that can detect radio waves located within the “water hole” of the spectrum. Until we receive a signal that comes from space, despite all other evidence, we will not be able to without a doubt accept that we are anything other than alone in the universe. That is unless, there happens to be an actual invasion.
