How often do people use technology everyday? In Pew Research Center by Lee Rainie, he states that “Cell phones are now being used by 91% of adults, according to the survey conducted between April 17 and May 19 of 2,252 adults”(Rainie). Many Americans in this generation today are relying on technology then they ever have. Some Americans disagree that technology can be used for helping people in situations. Technology is a positive tool for American teenagers because they are keeping in touch with friends and family, preparing for their future, and staying connected in emergency situations.

Having a phone is a good way to stay in touch with friends and family. One easy way they can keep in touch is through technology. Family members that often go off to war want to keep in touch by facetime or email. Technology has allowed this generation to see their loved ones more often than usual.
